Wasn't sure if this learning thermostat was going to work with the wiring i had, but to my surprise it worked perfectly.

Overall a great smarty thermostat for its ability to work with other smarty devices such as Echo and WeMo products. Now if it would display current temperature as well...

I have my nest connected to my vivint security system and my echo. I love the ease of control and after the first month it sends a usage report which i find very helpful.

the 3rd Generation's sensor is very sensitive. From 5 feet away the thermostat knows you are in front of it, therefore knows you are home and better serves your temperature needs

Glad we purchased the nest. It has saved us some money on our bill and our service provider gave us a check for buying it. It already paid itself off. Only thing is i'd like for it to be a bit more user friendly. I will admit I haven't invested too much time in getting to know how the app works though.

Thermostat provides a lot of helpful information such as indoor/outdoor temperatures, humidity and equipment usage to name a few.

..and it's just a thermostat. My OCD kicked into high-gear and I watched this and my usage on a daily basis, I know for a fact it has saved me $100 in the first moth alone.

One of my first smart home devices. Integrates within my google home based system and has learned to adjust my thermostat automatically after a few weeks of use.

Geek Squad protection is a must have for these. Mine got fried in a power surge and the home warranty company didn't cover it. They're awesome so I bought a new one

Never was excited about a thermostat before. Love the extras like when the light turns on when you approach and that it's a clock as well. The monthly reports are great.

This is the second nest I've purchased. This one was for my daughter. I am on the equalizer program thru APS. My bill was $235 a month. It dropped to 203 from the nest.

The thermostat can sometimes be tricky to figure out but the eco mode is really great and does save you on your bill.

Not any drastic change from the 2nd generation to 3rd but got the latest one as it has a few features added from the previous version

This would have been my second Nest Thermostat. I personally installed my first Nest Thermostat in my home in October 2017 and love it. I bought this one for my office and it was a dud right out of the box. Everything seemed fine, but the thing wouldn't charge on the wall. I called my HVAC guy to inspect my heating and air, he determined the thermostat to be defective out of the box. Aside from that, these things are awesome and I ended up taking this one back to swap it out for another. The new one went right in and fired up, no issues at all.

I bought it for my son and his fiance, they love it. They said that it is efficient and they noticed a decline in their electric bill.

Absolute nightmare of an experience! Called through total tech rep. Appointment set up wasn’t even communicated well so we rush home to meet him. He is very late because he said it wasn’t at the store. Then we tell him it was delivered to the house. Next he installs it and leaves. Of course it doesn’t work. Technician won’t answer the phone, nobody at the store can answer because I was told they took away phones. We work through the 800 number to try to resolve and they were zero help. Nobody can contact the 3rd party and the advice is for me to go to the store since they can’t answer. So the device isn’t compatible, the technician left without testing and there is no way to speak to anyone for resolution. We had to take it out and reinstall our old system.

Awesome Thermostat. Very touchy witj wifi6 though.
