LOVE IT! SAVE $75.00 IN ONE MONTH! IT IS SUCH A BIG HELP IN SAVING MONEY ON ELECTRICITY BILL AND I LOVE THE ECO SETTING.

Loved the idea of remote control, but after 4 months stopped working. I would give it a ZERO if I could. I will not be buy any more Google hardware. Initially the NEST indicated low battery and started dropping WIFI. Several hours with horrible Google support troubleshooting. Many can't speak English well enough to spell your email address correctly. Even then, they can't make any decisions without putting you on hold while they contact their manager. CSR said my HVAC had an issue and recommended a tech to check it out. Well, thermostat from another system worked fine. Finally they agreed to send a replacement base, but it took 10 days to arrive. With replacement base, the A/C worked, surprise-surprise, but now it would NOT connect to WIFI router nor HOTSPOT, so it too is defective. Great idea, poor execution with support that is of no help. If you are willing to live without A/C or heat for a couple of weeks when your NEST stops working, go for it. If not, then stay away or at least keep your old thermostat handy because you will need it.

I'd like to see more options on the software side but like it for the style.

Had old fashioned 2 wire (white and red) thermostat. This was the only thermostat that was able to work without a common power wire.

I replaced my first generation Nest device and was really impressed with the quality and upgrades the third generation had to offer.

Love how this tracks my in house temp and outside temp and does it as efficiently as possible

Purchased the Nest in July but waited until December to install. About two weeks after installation, the unit failed. Thank goodness it happened when both my wife and I were not out of town. Unfortunately, my wife was without heat for most of the day when temperature was below zero. Had someone from our local utility company come out who determined the Nest was not working and they reinstalled our old thermostat. Because I waited too long to install it, I was past Best Buy's timeline for returns, which I understand. I contacted Nest to request a refund or exchange, and they said they could do neither. Less thank six months since it was purchased!!! They said I would need to reinstall it and would need to try to trouble shoot it. That is so ridiculous, especially since we had a professional come to our house to diagnose it. At the least you would expect Nest to ask for it back and send a repaired or replacement unit. So in summary, our Nest failed us at the worst possible time and they won't stand behind their product.

Easy set up! And I've already saved 40$ on my first electric bill. Kind of creepy how it tracks your habits. But it's paying for itself.

It is a good tool. Still working through the learning period. Like the app access for programming and changes

Purchased for second home so we can monitor remotely. Satisfied with purchase and curbside pick up.

Haven’t installed yet but love the ones we have. Great to be able to control the temperature through the app.

The best thing about a Nest is when you are away, it goes into Econo mode which saves a fortune in heating and cooling costs

I loved the product but it was not compatible with the wiring for my A/C. Best Buy accepted the return with no problems.

Google nest nice looking thermostat hopefully helps Manage heat and cool air since its expensive when heat comes to midwest and need to rely on a/c

infinitely programmable. My only criticism is that the scheduling interface is a bit rudimentary---it could stand an update.

I like the nest only con I have I wish the wires would stay in place mine comes out for some reason after so long

Its a very expensive piece of hardware upgrade for my home. I was disappointed that they discontinued the e-ink model that was a bit cheaper but still good quality. The new cheaper model Nest has seems like such less quality that it deterred me from purchasing it over this one. I still don't think that this one is worth the asking price, but Nest's system works great with Google home since they are owned by Google and that was really the only reason I went with this one over other brands.

We really love this. Now when we leave the house we don’t have to remember to turn down the heat it does it automatically.

There tech support was US based an available on Memorial day. Totally exceeded expectations!

Was very easy to install and set up, wiring design made it simple. And the included plates meant no painting.
