Love this, but a bi difficult to use in the beginning.

STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT ITS SMART FUNCIONALITY.

We have several of these thermostats as we have a four zone system. Its convenient to have these smart thermostats so we can see the operation without having to go to each zone to see what they are set at. The seasonal eco setting is very helpful. Its like a reminder it's time to run the setup. Not sure how much we are actually saving because it just estimates each unit. Since each zone runs independent of each other, this system doesn't calculate how much they run together.

I think this was probably really cool four years ago. The thermostat looks great but falls way short in performance. If your going to make the investment the HVAC manufactures remote thermostats are much more feature rich

I really like being able to remotely monitor/control my temps.

From day one I started saving money. Eco is very useful.

Haven't Really used all features yet due to no wifi.

Love how I can change the temperature while watching TV by simply opening the ap and changing it.

Not intuitive but can eventually work your way thru it

it is great to save money and use it by the phones

Like the auto energy save mode which helps you save $$$.

Never buy this product. Check out the google help community on this thermostat, Review after review on problems with the Thermostat creating Eco- schedules without asking, Temperatures soaring even while Location settings are set to on and you are at home. Post after post with no answers. My personal experience? The thermostat was set to 70 and would -CONSTANTLY- let temps creep into the 80s until someone goes to check the thermostat to see why we are boiling inside our home only for the device to click on the cooling as soon as it detects someone in front of it, like it is trying to pretend it isn't turning off our AC. Terrible product.

I purchased 4 Nest thermostats to replace my existing 4. Found out that Nests do NOT have "fan on" only option unless the entire device is on. Can turn on "fan only" on my previous thermostats without requiring to turn on heat or cold options.

I purchased this and was very happy with the ease of use. Set it up on my phone and connected it to my Google account and could control the temps via speech. Lots of features and the phone app was robust. Realized how much I liked the turn to dial temp for manual after I replaced it with the standard one that does not have this feature. Bad rating due to it did not last a year before it died. Rather than fight to get it replaced I just bought an inexpensive version

Had for 30 days. Issue with not enough power to supply device on day 5. Resolved by researching online, hooking up additional wire. No problems since then but nest should really warn people that not all setups will work straight out of box.

I upgraded from a basic thermostat that came with the house and it is awesome! big difference

After four hard years, the Nest Thermostat stopped communicating with the furnace. When replace with a new one, the new Thermostat and furnace resumed communicating.
