Very easy to install yourself as long as you have the proper type wiring. Web link guides you to which color wires go where on the Nest for your particular set up. Only had it set up for a few weeks but it seems to be saving me energy/money and is easy to use with your phone on the Nest app.

My non-handy husband easily installed 2 of these thermostats in our 2-story home. It was pretty quick and easy. They connected to our Wifi with no issue. I programmed them using the app, and it was super easy, unlike our prior thermostat. It's great seeing energy usage via the app. They work great!

This thermostat is awesome. We had a wifi thermostat before but it was an older model and looked outdated ! The nest looks high tech and works really well. I'm glad I spent the extra 50 bucks to get the second generation one because I heard the first one isn't that great! But this is an overall really good product !

Nest thermostat is easy to use and works well with my other nest products. The rebate from my electric company also made this purchase an easy lower cost upgrade for my home that should save me way more money than what the thermostat itself costs.

this unit is unbelievable.. works great and stable.. never gets disconnected, i just wishes that it would remind on even if you could dim it, just because it looks nice on, but it doesn't no option for it, it turns off and when you get near it turns on, but LOVE this unit!!! well worth the price, simple and slick

Great product with an easy install. Took me about 5 minutes to install. Love the product. Worth every dollar and helps me save money on my heating and cooling bill. I really enjoy monitoring my house temp when I'm away. Highly recommend this product.

Factoring in the rebate offered by my local utility, it will pay for itself in about 1 year.

read a bunch of reviews before buying, make sure to check if your utility company offer rebate for going smart. very easy to use, and i like the fact that it will know when you are home so it will auto set temp to make your room comfy

I've been wanting to get this thermostat for years and finally got it. It's great. When I wake up in the morning, it's already at my preferred temp, and an hour before I go to bed it automatically changes to a lower temp...it's great.

Just installed this and works great so far. It was easy to install, loved that is came with cover plate and tools you need to install. Learns your habit of what temp you prefer. The app needs some work but for the most part you can use it to adjust your homes temperature when you are away.

I wish we had done this years ago, they work great and are so much easier to use than my old thermostats.

The nest was very easy for me to install. I love that I can change the temperature in my house for my dog no matter where I am, even if I'm just in bed (no judgment). The app is very responsive. I was also able to get a $50 rebate from my energy company. I have been very happy with this purchase.

The Nest is the best of all of the smart thermostats. I tried 2 other brands before going back and spending a little extra for the Nest. So glad I did. Far superior to the other two. Love it. Great quality and ease of use.

Absolutely love this thermostat. Bought it before Black Friday and I wish I waited since it went down $50 on price for Black Friday. Otherwise this thermostat is absolutely fantastic, i love the different displays it shows when you walk near it. From weather, clock, temperature, etc… the use with the Nest and Home app are incredible. Love the learning schedule it has. The one thing I didn’t like was that went we had a power outage for less than 3 hours the battery showed that it was low on power and after power came back the internet didn’t rebooted and it said it was off line and I had to manually set up internet again. Other than that, the thermostat is absolutely fantastic on normal operation

I am loving the nest! It works really well with all my devices including my Echo show devices. I love that after 3 days it learned what temperatures I like and at what time I am home. I would definitely recommend!

This product comes with an easy to follow installation manual. I am not a good DIY gifted person, but from opening the package to complete installation only took me about 30 minutes, And setting up a schedule can be done fully automated or manual. It can be controlled away from home using your smart phone or PC.
