Took a while to get a charge recommend charging before installing. Beware as it will also start operating as it learns. We have found the temps changed quite a few times as it was following the schedule it learned.

After installing and using this, I must say that it has been very useful to install and use. I've added other sensors so I can adjust temps to meet the conditions in those rooms. My utility company added an incentive to purchasing and I got this on sale. I think this helped my decision and return on investment decision.

The ultimate in comfort control

We had a little bit of a slow start because the heating company that installed our furnace did not know how to help us pair it with our Alexa. The Nest support team was great at working with us and got us up and running. The eco setting is great when we leave home and when we are on our way home we can get the house to the temp we need it to be when we get home from hundreds of miles away. No more calling on neighbors to come in and make adjustments we can do it from our phone app.

It was on sale and I was getting a Google Home Mini also, this could be used to change Nest settings too and I thought I'd place it near the bed so it could control temp adjustments at night. BOY AM I GLAD I bought THIS! What a gem! it can change settings if I'm home or away saving me plenty already. My Best Buy guy was able to install in about 30 minutes, and it's pretty. I recommended to another friend who was remodeling and they put in 2 and separated the house into two zones really saving them money!
