Best Buy techs installed and it has been easy to use ever since! It really does “learn” your schedule after a few days and you can save money as it knows when not at home, so it will raise temp of ac so you are saving energy. I like the small size but easy to read panel.

Had a bit of trouble installing. Not quite as simple as the directions would lead one to believe. However, once installed it works wonderfully. Learns quickly.. After only one week it knows my habits. Lowers the temp at bedtime and shuts itself off when I leave the house. On a cold day I can use the app to get the temp up by the time I arrive home and keep track of how much energy is used every day in the app history. Set it and forget it.

Works great with the wifi. Follow the instructions for the installation. Take a picture of the wiring before you disconnect the old thermostat just in case you need to hook it up again.

Very satisfied with my purchase. Love the fact that you can control the temps with your phone.

I LOVE my Nest Thermostat. It has allowed me to become as lazy as I can possibly be! However, on a serious note, I love it because it really does help you save on your electric bill. It does this by allowing you to turn off and change the temperature set on your thermostat whether you're at home, or away from home at the grocery store, or on the other side of the country. Companion app is updated regularly and works well.

only had this for 2 days and I love it, easy to install. Google support was really no help to me at all. I had to basically figure it out on my own.

Easy install when replacing the honeywell that was installed by previous owner. Controls on phone and on thermostat very easy to set up and seems to respond well to any on the fly changes I make. We will see how well the "learning" part of the thermostat works after using it for a while.

The learning thermostat works about the same as any other smart thermostat. I do enjoy the WiFi features though since I can turn the air on/off from places other than in my house

This thermostat is amazing- the ability to change it and monitor my house temperature from anywhere in the world is a huge plus since I have my dogs at home a good chunk of the day. The Nest app is so easy to use, and it’s really nice to see how the temperature in my house has been through the whole day in time lapses. Highly recommend this thermostat for anyone looking for a smart thermostat!

If you want to control your homes temperature from a far, buy this product. It is excellent.

The Nest works great. We love the ability to set up a schedule and the built in intelligence makes it possible to set it and forget it, once you have it laid out the way you want it. We don't really use the away feature, since there is always someone home, so I can't provide feedback on that, but it seems like an interesting option.

Works really well. When I first installed it, I thought it was malfunctioning because it kept reporting the temperature as being much higher than it actually was but I soon found out that it was because I kept touching it as I was trying to figure it out and learn how to use it. If you find yourself in this situation, just leave it alone for a bit and you will see the reported temperature go down. I have all of the auto schedule stuff turned off just because I am used to a more traditional thermostat that doesn't change by itself. The schedules are easy to setup through the Google Home app but you could also do it through the Nest app.

I picked up a Nest thermostat after learning our local energy company was reimbursing customers $75.00 that purchased one. We paid a professional electrician to install the unit, and it has worked great. We are able to see our energy use day-by-day and track our savings. We are also able to schedule the times the unit turns on, providing even greater savings.

Easy to install yourself and easy to program for remote use. Works great!
