The Nest thermostat is a great addition to the smart home concept. The unit itself is very nice and very easy to install. The wires from the old thermostat connect appropriately and only several screws are needed. The app is also very handy, very easy to use and has the exact same icons/details as if you were actually looking at the thermostat

This is a great tstat to purchase if you need something that is easy to install and easy to use.

I've been wanting to upgrade my old thermostat since the first Nest product came out but could not match the wiring scheme. The 3rd gen Nest matched perfectly and I'm up and running. It took me less than 30 minutes to install and program using my wifi and personal settings. I paired it with my iphone and set the 'away' mode to Eco mode and my electricity savings has improved in the last 3 months of use.

We use this to help control the temperature at one of our rentals. Works like a charm to ensure we can set the temperature when guest check-out.

This is the unit I needed to work in my house. The connection worked great even in a home from the 70's. Made setting seeing the temperature much better than the non-smart thermostats.
