This thermostat is the best thermostat I have found. I like that it only displays a temp when you walk by it and that it controls an Aprilaire humidifier.

I regret waiting so long to buy this thermostat. It was very easy to install and got it working right away. This product will pay for itself!

Mine did not work properly when I bought it so I had to have the wiring changed from a 2 wire to a 3 wire for the c wire.so that was a added expense. If I knew that during my purchase I might of bought something to work with what I had and there is thermostats out there that don't require the third wire or c wire. Other than that I do like it.

Great product. Easy to install. Customer service is top notch and readily available to help. I had some questions during the install. They quickly answered them and got me up and running in no time. Nest interface and iOS app make using it a joy.

Long story short, the features and functionality of this device can be good to great. However, make sure your system and thermostat connection point has and supports a common wire. Despite Google/Nest's insistence that you do not need one in my experience and in that of many others you really do. Without a common power your thermostat under heavy load will not pull enough power off your system. As a result it will possibly (likely) cause your HVAC system to short cycle. There are various remedies available to alleviate this issue, but for people who do not have a common wire and or have a system where heat and A/C are spliced together, this can be more trouble than its worth and or require an HVAC specialist to rewire your system.

Easy to install, easy to set up, and it looks great. I really like the Nest app.

I installed it myself, but it wasn’t particularly easy. I haven’t had it installed for very long so it hasn’t learned my habits yet. I do like having access to the Nest from my phone.

We love our Nests because we can turn off our heat if we forgot to when we leave our homes using our phones, but the scheduling is weird. We don't have set hours in our home, and despite the Nest being a smart thermostat, I don't think it will ever be able to fully understand our schedule. The eco mode is great so you can rest assure that your house is always at least one temperature, and never exceeds another

So perfect, you can control it from anywhere plus it such a great looking thermostat. I would buy another one for the other thermostat.

Easy set-up. Houses with split systems will require some research for adding both thermostats to a single home. It's not straight forward and not in the instructions or on the Nest website.

We love this product so much we bought one a gift to a family member! Installation was simple and set-up was easy. If you need additional help with the setup, they have a few videos on youtube that can be useful. We love to be able to cool/heat the house when we are area within the nest app. Must have for a smart homes

Easy to set up, but I would have a professional install it. You get a rebate from most power companies and can control things from your phone app.
