Had to run a common wire on an older system to get Nest to power on. However once I ran the wire it came on within a minute. So far we have saved quite a bit in energy.

I love this device! The app allows full control of the thermostat, whether you're home or anywhere else with an internet connection to your phone. I would definitely purchase this again!

After using this thermostat for a month, my electric bill came 30 dollars lower from previous month. Was tired of forgetting to lower and turning up my AC unit, so nest has made it easy for me.

A new edition to our smart home & I must say it's extremely convenient to be able to set up a routine schedule for the home to be comfortable. Hughly recommend

I purchased mine and ended up returning it after about a week of use. It seemed to work well but there was a few issues i had with it. This model doesnt have a light inside so its difficult to see your wine, if the room isnt well lit. The noise is moderately quiet but louder than i expected. Whether or not i recommend it to a friend would depend on what exactly theyre looking for in a wine cooler.

Work as appetite wonderful product helps save money on heating bill, wll recommended.

My ac is currently not working after installing my Nest only two months ago... I've read online in different forums about other people experiencing the same problem as me, almost as if this unit fries the connector which tells your ac to turn on/off. My power bill was double the usual this month as I discovered this issue. Will be troubleshooting with Nest. Recommend professional install...

My older thermostat was programmable by days, hours etc.. Thus seems to adjust itself every morning.. Still trying to figure it out but the only plus it's wifi. plus its it's not touchscreen. I believe it's more manual than my previous 5 year old thermostat..

We like the nest so far. We really like that it adjusts the temperature when we are away.

This item was very easy to install and setup on my network. So far has delivered on everything it advertised but the home/away assist does not do a good job of detecting when we are home or not but otherwise this product has been better than expected.

My wife has me constantly adjusting the thermostat to keep her cool. This is a game changer!! It easily allows her to adjust the comfort setting as she pleases!! Thank you Google nest!!

Do not try to install this yourself if you have an old home with a four wire furnace line because you can totally screw up your AC. I thought I had mine set corretly and it worked well for about three months when the lack of a common wire on my four wire furnace wiring suddenly caused the capacitor on my blower to fail, leading to a frozen AC and a lot of water in the basement. I am super lucky that caught it before more damage was done and that I have a friend who works in HVAC and could fix my AC and update my furnace wiring, on Memorial Day no less. In the end, it is an ok product but it is not as simple as it seems to install and you could end up seriously damaging some very expensive equipment, so I recommend getting it installed by a pro.

I replaced my Honeywell programmable thermostat with the Nest. I am very happy with it. It integrates with my home automation system (Homeseer), and I have been able to program the Away status based on the presence of our cell phones! Pretty cool.

Had a nest before but forgot to take it with me when I moved. The home/away feature helps save so much money. Pricey but pays for its self in just a few months

Great. sometimes it decides to do what it wants. In the blazing hot summer it decided to go into ECO mode since no one was home. Came home to a blazing hot home and took forever to cool down. easy fix in setting though. be careful with updates it will change the schedule and temps.

It is so convenient to leave home without having to worry about powering the AC/heating equipment. Nest does it for you. It saves energy as well. It learns my patterns so I do not even have to worry about powering off and on remotely. Great purchase.

I am so happy to finally purchase the Nest Smart WIFI thermostat. One feature I love is the temperature display as I walk past.
