I was disappointed that they discontinued the e-ink model that was a bit cheaper but still good quality. The new cheaper model Nest has seems like such less quality that it deterred me from purchasing it over this one. I still don't think that this one is worth the asking price, but Nest's system works great with Google home since they are owned by Google and that was really the only reason I went with this one over other brands.

I haven't used it enough to see if im really saving on my bill each month but the convenience of being able to control the thermostat while on vacation or just away from your home is one of the major reasons I purchased this and is a great feature.
