Pairing the Nest with my Google home has been fantastic! I can't wait to see the savings it brings in the heat of the summer!

I like the idea, but the execution is poor. I had an earlier version and I liked it, but I think this one suffers from trying to do too much. It seems to have a mind of its own. It will seemingly randomly turn the thermostat up, even when we are home, so it gets hot in the summer time. It is almost like a nanny saying I don't care what you want, I want it to be something else. I DO want to conserve energy, but this thermostat goes places I never knew or intended it to go.

Nest is a real good thermostat that is adjusting even when we forget to change the temperature.

Has alotnof features some good and some bad and had to fight with it to keep up with my AC cause it would wanna change the temp on its on because of the built in AI

I love it love it love it!! It manages my heating bill so far so good. I feel my home warmer but not with a high heating bill.

Nests are are great way to manage the temp in your home to become more energy efficient.

I purchased this thermostat to replace an old 17yr old one and I was able to get it up running in about 30-45 mins.

Have seen a difference in energy usage even though weather has turned HOT. Am sure I will see a difference in energy bill.

Was told by Best Buy and Google this would work great with my new heater/AC and heat pump, the unit did work, it is just after installing it my power consumption went from around 1300kVA to over 5000kVA and bill went from an average of 140 a month to 550 per month. I called Google support when I received my first power bill and it was so high, they checked all the settings, had me change some things and said it should be good, next month it was even higher, called again, had me change some things and said it should be fine now. Got my next electrical bill, was the highest ever and most usage ever, called again, pretty disgruntled at this point as this device that was supposed to save energy and money had now costed me over 1200 dollars in electrical bills and insane usage, I spent 6 hours on chat with support after which they concluded it was running auxiliary heat and my heat pump at the same time and that it was not compatible....this after 3 months, obviously I wasn't happy. I thought ok well how do i return the device, this was the best part, sorry sir you can't return the device, completely ridiculous, I had a documented case going back to the first month, I was told it was compatible over and over and their decision is too bad. Needless to say, I'm done buying any Nest or Google products period.

Integrates excellent with our Vivint security system. Able to control with Alexa. Love the monthly usage reports. Great product!
