The drawback to this product is that you have to manually override the cool/heat because of the learning feature even when you have turned it off. The cost of the thermostat is high but most thermostats are expensive unless you want to go with a product that isn't wifi enabled.

Other than deleting your programmed schedule, to use your Nest thermostat as a traditional programmable thermostat, you will need to turn off Auto-Schedule learning as shown on the steps below:
- Open the Nest app on your mobile phone or tablet.
- Select your Nest thermostat.
- Select Settings icon and then select Auto-Schedule.
- Tap the switch to turn it off.
You can also turn off the Auto-Schedule on your Nest Thermostat E by following the steps below:
- Press the ring.
- Choose Settings icon.
- Then select Nest Sense.
- Then select Auto-Schedule and then select Off.

They have online help where you simply put in where your current wires are connected to and it shows you where to install them on the Nest. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a smart thermostat.

The Nest thermostat is easy to install and is easy to use. The app is great as well. And the new larger face seems huge at first but now I'm very glad for the upgrade. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

It knows when you are not home and it adjusts the temperature to save you energy. It knows when you are close to home and sets itself to the temperature that you prefer so your home is comfortable when you arrive.

Looks cool on the wall, people actually notice the thermostat when the walk into the house. Uses low voltage wires to power the unit so no battery required. Don't know yet if it's saving me any money.
