I'm very happy with our NEST thermostat. It takes a week to learn your habits and automatically builds a weekly schedule that is customizable. Before we had the NEST, it was common to forget to turn down the heat at night or during the day when we are at work but now, I hardly touch it. The remote monitoring through the app allows us to call for heat without having to come home. There is also a report generated that tracks the amount of heat/cooling called (in hours) so it's easy to see changes week-to-week. I would never go back to a regular thermostat. I've been spoiled.

Very easy to install, very easy to set-up and love that you can control it from the app on your phone. We also love how it communicates with the Nest Protect, Nest cameras and other products.

Make sure your old thermostat is compatible with the nest thermostat on their website before purchase. The nest thermostat works great and was incredibly easy to setup. Love the app.

I have had this for less than a month but it has worked excellent so far. It took a while to convince my wife to let me purchase this but with a rebate incentive from our local energy company I was able to seal the deal. It was relatively easy to setup and only too 2 weeks to determine our schedule. The motion sense if highly accurate and with the IFTTT app you can have it double as an alarm system telling you when there is motion in your house. The app is well designed but can only have one person login at once, which is a pain for a 2+ person household.

Quick and easy to install. Love the fact that I can control the temperature in my house remotely. A little expensive but hey it works

The Nest Learning Thermostat is a great addition to any smart home. The Nest is easy to set up and program. It learns and automatically adjusts temperatures to your preferences after just a few days. Control from your phone anywhere! It also is energy efficient and looks great on the wall.

Love nests!!! I have now bought 12 and everyone loves them easy to use and fun. One of the best things in my house especially for vegas

The Nest product line is great and works well together. The wiring guide wasn't as clear as I hoped, but tech support was quick enough to identify wires that didn't need to be used. I'd recommend the Nest thermostat to anyone looking for a sleek setup. The only reason I don't give it five stars is the cost.

Love this Nest thermostat. Not sure if I am saving any money on energy, but it works very well and its handy to be able to change things from your phone. Just wish it worked with Apple MyHome

Beyond easy to install, simple to use. Not quite sure how well it learns our habits because we tinker with the temp ourselves. Remote control through iPhone is terrific. Great looking as well.

I purchased this after I found out that I didn't need a C wire to use it. I had suspected my old thermostat of needing replacement for a while. I bought this and a Nest Protect at the same time. I have to say that this thermostat doesn't disappoint. I have it set to two degrees higher temp in my house than my previous thermostat and it is keeping my house cooler. I also like the auto-away feature where it senses my phone's location and will automatically jump the temperature up to save power when I am not in the vicinity of my house. I haven't had a problem with it yet, except that my kids think it is cool and keep changing the temperature manually in the house when they are home.

I have had a couple Nest thermostats in my house for about 3 years. They are fairly easy to use and quite intuitive, especially when paired with the mobile app. I had one of my 2nd generations thermostats develop some sort of problem (began to heat up, couldn't detect temperature, turned on the heat instead of the A/C--a general meltdown) so I bought the 3rd Generation as a replacement. I agree with most online reviews that say that gen 3 is an incremental improvement--mostly cosmetic--and generally not at all worth an upgrade from gen 2. Still, this version is more visible from a distance if that's something you care about. The "works with Nest" compatibility family is a neat thing, and I do use that as a pretty big part of the connected "smart" home I've put together. However it's not a substitute for a dedicated home controller like SmartThings or (my choice) Homeseer. Nest does worth with those just fine. I've never tried Ecobee or the other competitors, but the Nest product line is a solid choice and certainly has an aesthetic appeal compared to a more traditional thermostat.

Easy install and web sit-up. My 2nd. Nest thermostat. One is 4 hrs. away in a rental condo. Works as advertised. Will consider additional NEST products. Works with Alexa also.

Love the look of this thermostat and the cash back from the electric company! Loved being able to set it on my phone from out of state.

I was worried about installing it thinking I’d need an electrician. I was able to do it myself in 15 minutes. Works great have it linked to Alexa and can control it from anywhere.

I like that I can adjust the thermostat when I am at work. The installation was very simple. Just follow the instructions. It learns your patterns and it has been great so far.

really like the Nest thermostats. They look the best and are very intuitive to use. nice large display.
