I do love the thermostat however I'm still getting used to it, It has this smart feature (that can be turned off) which basically it sees your habits and tries to predict them for you, for example, if everyday at 1pm you lower the temperature to 69 after a few days the thermostat will do this for you, im still getting the hang of that because we change the temperature often depending on what area of the house we are in and other variables like that. This thermostat replaced the original one installed in my house in the 70s a much needed upgrade when I purchased my home. Don't skimp out and buy a cheap one, this one has function and style and its a conversation piece. Im glad I spent the money and definitely would buy it again, how ever I did not research other "smart tstat" options.

Tip. Make sure to turn off the electrical connection before you install it. I relly like the nest and how i can schedule or control from my phone. Easy to use. I would recommend.

I had wanted one of these for awhile and finally decided to go with it. The installation was incredibly easy. Nest even has you check compatibility before you begin the install to make sure that everything will work. The "learn" feature of the thermostat is amazing. After it collects data for a week or two of you controlling the thermostat, it begins to automatically know when to adjust the temperature and at what time. It is also very nice and convenient to be able to control the thermostat when you are away. AMAZING PRODUCT!

Super easy to install and it looks nice on the wall. Not sure how much energy it's really saving but we will see

I had to take a star off because geek squad will charge you to come out and install it only to tell you that you that u need an additional wire installed for it to work properly and that they won’t do it that u need to pay an hvac company to finish the install. Other than that It’s simple to use. It looks futuristic. I like that the display automatically lights up as soon as it senses motion. Works like it should no complaints though it would be cool if you had screensaver options

If you are looking for an intelligent Wifi Thermostat that works well with Google (or Amazon Echo) devices, The Google Nest Learning Thermostat is for you. In our home we have the Amazon Echo devices and although it takes extra steps to setup the end result is wonderful! Those who have the most problems with it haven't taken the time and effort to get it to do what they want. Its actually pretty intuitive!

This is by far my best purchase. It was easy to install and works great. The more I use it the better it functions. If you can...buy this!!!

Great thermostat. No issues at all. Best feature is you can control from your phone.

The Nest thermostat is very easy to install. All you need to do it put the wires that you have in to the correct slots and then it works. You can change the temp on your way home or set it on a schedule for different times of the day. It lights up when you walk by showing what is going on. Blue for cooling, black for your house has reached the set temp and red for heating. The first month we had it we reduced our energy cost so much that we got a bill credit. It was lent much but every bit counts.

I recommend you get it! Easy to install and works perfect in the home. Since I bought the Echo Plus it works like a charm.

Geek squad installed this although its said to be easy to do yourself. Quick and easy set up on iphone to control anywhere. This is our second home so we can check the heat anytime. And as we get closer to the residence we can turn the hest up before we arrive to have the house toasty warm

I have 2 of these thermostats. They are very eazy to set up and control. All the tools you will need are in the box. The app makes programing super eazy. I like that it is part of the nest ecosystems. Keeps many of your smart home things in one app.

I recently had a Nest thermostat installed by Best Buy. It is east to use and learns your temperature preferences.

I was hesitant to get this at first. Their website gives you a comparability test to see if it will work in your home. Just follow the wires. I installed mine in 15 minutes and I've never done anything like this before. It looks complicated but it's really simple. You can look up reviews on YouTube and they help out understanding the little pictures and stuff. I love controlling my thermostat even when I'm not home. Perfect for people with a vacation home. Paired with Google Home, and now I don't even have to get up to change anything.

I usually don't do house work and generally i get it done from outside. But this installation was very easy. There was one wire additional in my previous thermostat and i connected it wrong at first (it was not there in NEST video). Initially the NEST was cooling although it says heating. I called NEST CSR and they asked me to reconnect this additional wire different location. That person was extremely helpful and it got fixed. All the set-up was easy as well and the App works great. So far it is working as expected and am able to control from outside.
