The NEST was really easy to self install and set up. They walk you through each step as you go. It has been simple to use and manage the temperature.

Easy to install. Works great. Placed in the hall but seems to learn quickly to even out temperature in 2nd floor of house.

I replaced two thermostats in my vacation rental property, They look good can be locked or released remotely over the internet, you can see how they are set and edit the temperature, switch the fan on for a defined time period, see what the actual temperature is and the approximate temperature outside (based on internet information). The energy history section monitors my system usage so I can get a handle on performance. This is possibly overkill for many personal home situations but great for a rental property. That said if I get around to changing the Thermostat in our Primary home I would still get one of these.

I bought this Gen 3 model to be able to use the remote sensor with it. It was an easy install and the unit works just fine.

The unit is very easy to operate. I control with my phone when am away.i can also manually operate nest. The unit will learn your present when your or away.

I have been wanting one of these for a while now but I have an old natural gas wall heater and it is listed as not compatible. After a little youtube research, I found out that I could use this thermostat with a "24 Volt Power Adapter/Transformer". Less than 20 bucks on amazon and I had this up and running in no time. Works great. I love being able to control my heater with my google home app. The feel of the dial is nice. I am happy with my purchase and would do it again.

The thermostat looks great and seems to work fine. I haven't used all of the features yet--I need more time to read up on all that it offers.

So far I had this item for about a month and it has been working just fine. Set up was easy and the instructions were pretty straight forward. If you are looking for a smart thermostat, I recommend you look into buying this one. Everything can be pretty much controlled from you phone and the app is pretty easy to navigate through. I know this thermostat can be pretty pricey but you can often find rebates online or you can ask your electricity company to see if they have some kind of offer. Best Buy also has deals, so keep an eye out.

I was a little skeptical about purchasing one of these because they are the most expensive of the smart thermostats. I was very impressed with the build quality, and also the instructions to wire it. Installing this was a breeze because the instructions were so clear and there are even videos which make it even easier. Total installation time took about 15 minutes. Everyone is impressed when they see it. I love how Incan wake up in the middle of the night and change the temperature from my phone without even leaving my bed.

Works as expected. Great packaging, easy to install, great integration with other products. Love the nest sense features like auto away and learning features. Highly recommend.

I've had this Nest for over 6 months now and it's the best Smart Thermostat I've owned. Easy to operate, easy to setup (if you have a little know-how), and has great quality. The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is due to the Routine setting. It tries to learn your daily routine which is great but sometime it does it TOO well and if you happen to change the temperature to a certain degree two days in a row, it thinks that you want it set at the temperature every day after that, which not everyone does, so I disabled that feature. Using the Google Home app is also a breeze, so you can change it on the go or if you're too lazy to get up and change it yourself. The thermostat works with both Google Home and Alexa, but I did not set it up with Apple Homekit.
