I haven't had any problems this far with the system. It does a great job of keeping the house cool. I think our Trane thermostats were bad & picking up heat from the wiring from the wall. It caused it to constantly stay on. Since getting the nest system, I haven't had those problems. Setting it when we go out of town for days is great because it allows us to run the system on our way home so it feels like nothing has changed.

It does what it says it does. Sleek and simple. But it loses one star because setting a manual schedule is very clunky and almost impossible. That is the only down side.

This item was a great purchase. I especially liked the thermostats ability to be able to be controlled via the internet. This thermostat was very easy to install. The thermostat was even easier to set up and program. I also liked the ability to share the thermostat with my family members as well as the economy mode. I would recommend this product to a friend. Excellent product.

Great device and I would have given it five stars except I have issues with the notification module for the filter exchange. I wish that it would allow you to put the exact date vs the month of when you change your air filter and how long before you want to be notified to change it (1, 2 , 3 months etc). I turned on the notification, however it never notified that I needed to change my filter out like my prevous thermostat would when it was dirty. I love that I can change the temperature remotely, how it regulates the temp in my home and that I can put it on eco mode if i so desire but they REALLY need to modify the filter notification module since changing your filter is extremely important in maintaining the life of your air conditioner especially if you have pets like I do.

This thermostat replaced a traditional thermostat so we can control it remotely. Find the app easy to use.

I had an old manual thermostat and recently purchased the Nest system. It’s easy to set up and install, and is compatible with most home furnace and HVAC systems. The system is a self learning system and will quickly adapt to your schedule, and while you can set a general program to reduce energy usage is tremendously beneficial, the remote access is almost as helpful should your schedule change unexpectedly. This is a worthwhile investment to improve energy efficiency.

This product eased my life. I myself fixed it by replacing my rented appartment's manual thermostat. Easy to Fix, perfect to integrate with voice command, schedule it with app.

Installed over a month ago and everything seems to be working fine. We love the ability to control it from our phones and the learning feature was spot on. Only complaint was wiring the thermostat was a pain for my particular unit.

Dropped my energy bill tremendously. Being able to set the temperature of the house so you wake up warm and go to bed cold is incredible. I will never go back to owning a regular thermostat.

Easy to use, very reliable. Nice that it learns usage so you don’t have to change temperature.

Works really well. When I first installed it, I thought it was malfunctioning because it kept reporting the temperature as being much higher than it actually was but I soon found out that it was because I kept touching it as I was trying to figure it out and learn how to use it. If you find yourself in this situation, just leave it alone for a bit and you will see the reported temperature go down. I have all of the auto schedule stuff turned off just because I am used to a more traditional thermostat that doesn't change by itself. The schedules are easy to setup through the Google Home app but you could also do it through the Nest app.

I believe the best smart thermostat is the best. It also has a nice look to it.

Bought this thermostat for one major reason, that is when it is hot in the evening and then cool in the morning, I tend to forget that I left the system running, therefore my air would be running all day without my being home. This has solved this problem all together since I can turn it off from whereever I am. That alone, my power bill should drop dramatically. It also looks amazing on the wall and took all of 15 minutes to install. Only wish I bought it sooner.

Great buy wish I would have waited the price dropped another $50.00 being unemployeed would be nice to have that back. But overall great product. You still get back $125.00 from edison and gas combined. Easy install, I saw how to do this on youtube and got it to work properly. If for any reason you are not sure ablut your wires do not attempt to install it on your own. You would not want to risk blowing your transformers. No not the movie. Your actual electric transformers.

Installation was easy, the app is easy and very convenient. passing by it lights up and displays our temperature... we are now more conscious of our air condition temperature which reflects on our overall electric bill... the device learned our habits very quickly soon it was setting itself! We look forward to seeing our energy bill next month. it knows when were not home and it knows when we are. we used to crank our air down to 72% now were leaving it at 75 or 76 because it feels just as cool
