I just moved into a new home and I hated the thermostat is came with. My furnace would never shut off and it was beyond frustrating. I came across this Nest and I am so glad I did! I was able to take a quick quiz on the Nest website to see if it would work in my home. The nest was compatible with the set up in my home and I quickly bought it. Installing it was easy and it works very efficient. My monthly bills went down and im happy overall.

This thermostat is awesome. So sleek and clean looking. And very easy to use. I love that the temperature pops up every time you walk by it. Very cool!

Have 3 earlier generation Nest thermostats for my home and my tenant. One "died" due to faulty wiring by the electrician that caused a "burnout" of the battery (that's my advanced technical summary). Got the 3rd gen and love it more than the others. It's like when your new baby comes home and you have to hide how much more you like it from the other children. Works the way it's supposed to, the auto away feature is a major money saver for someone with a varied schedule. Integrating with my Nest cams and the security/temp regulation in my home is complete. Amazing! When I first saw this and saw what it does, I knew it was meant to be. This device supposedly memorizes the temperature settings over the course of a few days and it automatically adjust to those settings whether you like it or not. For instance, if you like it really cool at night, but your sister is house sitting for you who doesn't like it to be too cool, it'll automatically make it cool even if your sister adjusted it to her liking.

The thermostat is a great add for any smart home. It can be adjusted anywhere and you can get a schedule that is comfortable for you without a lot of interaction with the device. It even can detect when you are away and turn itself off automatically. A little pricey but a good buy for your smart home needs.

If a retired Gramma can install in 15 minutes, anyone can. Was able to lower temperature while on vacation, and raise it before coming home.

We have a Lennox Pulse furnace from 1991 and I was unsure if the Nest would be compatible. Installation was very easy and it works flawlessly!
