This is an investment that should be considered. There's many pros like the fact it helps monitor you're usage and shows how you can save your money. The fact you can program it to your daily routine makes it a great value. This is for the techs like my hubby. You can sync it your phone, iPad, tablets, etc so when you're away and coming home you can have the temp set to the ideal temp by the time you get home. While its pricey, it will pay for itself rather quickly. Look out for deals/promos. A $50 Best Buy gift card came with our purchase so it was definitely worth it.

Love the design and functionality. Confirmed with Nest Support that this would work with my HVAC unit, but the wiring diagram was not totally correct. Ending up getting my HVAC company to install the unit. No issues with it operating so far.

Great product but please keep in mind this item will start to read your mind. Once you awaken from your sleep you can feel it’s presence on you, controlling you and making decisions for you. I found myself running through a dark forest at 3am completely nude accept one sock, and that sock wasn’t on either of my feet. Long story short. Do t hesitate to buy this product thanks.

I'd read the reviews, some say its bad, some say it's good. Overall, I've loved this product since I've had it! The integration with the app is great and checking to see if the Eco temperatures are working is great to do on the fly! One downfall of this product that I was not happy about was the location services from your app. I was under the impression it was to start understanding if you were coming home and would heat the house up before you got there by using your location. This is not the case. It'll start heating your house when you're about a block away in my experience. Otherwise all the features they've described work just as good as they sound! I love my Nest Thermostat and would definitely recommend to others and buy another myself!

The Nest Learning Smart Thermostat has been a fixture in my home for a couple of years. Upgraded to the latest version to take advantage of the latest features. I continued to be impressed by the ease of the installation through the actual operation of the thermostat. The app works well together with the physical unit, which almost instantaneously responds to temp adjustments or scheduling updates. Very satisfied customer!!!

The thermostat is easy to install, they have thought of everything so it just about sets itself up! Works flawlessly, love it!

I love my nest thermostat. It learns based on how you set the temperature throughout the day. So if you set it at 76 for the night and 78 for the day it will start learning these settings and do it for you automatically. It will also know when you leave home based on cell phone location or if it doesn't detect anyone. The thermostat tells you exactly how long your AC has ran for with a historical schedule. This in itself it an amazing feature so you know which unit if you have two or more is running inefficiently by comparing numbers.

Works very well, I like that it pops on when you walk by it, a lot of different settings to display, easy to use. Customer support was extremely helpful and emailed a custom diagram for my system to set it up. I like the setting to have both low temp and high temp so cold or heat kicks on when needed. Also nice using the remote app.

Got it because it was on sale and I was also getting state rebate. But as it turned out, Nest is actually GREAT. Sets the temperature based on what you schedule. Auto sets temperature when you are away. Auto away works for me and my wife both so it doesn't got to eco temperature when one goes away. Integrates well with my phillips hue and LIFX lights. Turns them on and off automatically when I come or leave the house. I do not have a big house so I cannot comment on energy savings but with what it does, it definitely saying me some $$.

I do love the thermostat however I'm still getting used to it, It has this smart feature (that can be turned off) which basically it sees your habits and tries to predict them for you, for example, if everyday at 1pm you lower the temperature to 69 after a few days the thermostat will do this for you, im still getting the hang of that because we change the temperature often depending on what area of the house we are in and other variables like that. This thermostat replaced the original one installed in my house in the 70s a much needed upgrade when I purchased my home. Don't skimp out and buy a cheap one, this one has function and style and its a conversation piece. Im glad I spent the money and definitely would buy it again, how ever I did not research other "smart tstat" options.
