We installed the Nest Learning Thermostat approximately three weeks ago. The installation took about 10-15 minutes. It was extremely easy to install and use. It is great. The best thing about the Nest is the ability to control the thermostat remotely.

Nest works great. Install instructions with online videos and diagrams made it easy. Using the online information, you can tell if you have a compatible setup before you open the box. The printable diagram then tells you how to wire the the Nest, based on the wires you have.

This unit works perfectly with my google home system!! Also works great while away from home with the app!! We vacation in the winter often and don’t have anyone to rely on to make sure our home is warm enough to insure our pipes don’t freeze up while away!!

Easy to install, works like a dream, and looks so sleek on the wall! Worth the money spent and I even received an instant discount through my electric company to purchase it so I saved a bunch!

This was my fourth Nest Thermostat. One for my primary home and three for a second home. I find them incredibly easy to install and set up. It is very convenient to be able to control the thermostat remotely, be it from my bed or across the country.

With some hesitancy, I decided to replace my thermostat with a smart thermostat hoping to save on energy cost. After a partial winter season and one summer season I reviewed my usage to the previous season and delighted to report that my summer usage was down by 18%, and 10% for the partial winter season. There are several variables to consider. So, I'll reassess next season. So far so good! Following the directions and viewing the video I had no difficulty installing the thermostat. It is a nice convenience to have the option to adjust the thermostat using my cell. I am a Nest subscriber and have several Google Nest products with one subscription!

Easy to set and use. Just follow the simple steps in the instruction booklet. I love the interactive app, it allows me to change the temp anywhere, anytime. I also the design, sleek and smooth. Its the thermostat of the future.

Great thermostat for the home. Bought one for both the upstairs and downstairs. Easy to install and easy to also work via the Nest App. Also happens to be a great looking unit, we got the one with the white band.

I like that I can control my thermostat when away from home, or asking my Google Home to change the temperature. Plus the cool Economy Feature of the thermostat leaning my schedule, and kicking the system back on when I get home.

This is my 2nd Nest thermostat. Had a 1st generation in my previous house. It was great. I love this new Nest thermostat. Installation was a breeze (I am a middle aged, non-technical woman). Easy to program too. Learns you habits.

I went from a standard a/c control panel to the nest thermostat and am very surprised how useful and easy to use it is. I love it’s learning algorithms and ability to change anything wherever you are.

This is an absolute must have product to control your heating/cooling system. HOWEVER, there are a few important things to know, which I've learned after owing my first version of this thermostat for almost 5 years and recently purchasing a new one. First, it is very important to remember that 4 wire systems can work with a 3rd gen Nest, but with a big caveat. You will either get enough trickle charge for the thermostat to last your ownership of it, or you will have to buy a 24 Volt Transformer C Wire Power Adapter for Nest (recommend googling it) to offer supplemental power. I know this now because I had a 4 wire system that failed to power the device after nearly 5 years of my ownership. Secondly, find out if your heating/cooling system has a C-wire on board, even if you currently have a 4 wire system. Mine did have this so I was able to pay a qualified technician to run a new 5 wire system to my new thermostat. But as I stated in the previous point, if a 4 wire is your only option, then refer to the adapter reference in my previous point. A final recommendation I have is to keep a manual style heating/cooling thermostat on hand to back this one up should an extended power outage or software/device malfunction occur. As nice as it is to be on your home's WIFI network and be able to program, use the smart functionality of the thermostat and be able to access remotely, it is smart to have a back up thermostat.....which I also learned the hard way. Best of luck on this purchase. If expectations are properly set, you're going to love this device.

purchased my 2nd nest 3rd generation. almost 2 months ago and setup it by myself and took less than an hour. please take extra caution and watch online installation how to install it. It's expensive but most of time on sales.

Easy to use and can even set a temperature range so it knows when you want test and when you want the AC.

I have most of the Google smart home product's, and was hearing good things about the learning thermostat. We've had it in play now for about 4 weeks and I've noticed the temperatures are even in our house, upstairs and down. This thing truly works! We utilized the eco mode on this, and have already seen the savings on my electric bill. A bonus. The thing looks pretty cool, a minimalist aethestic! I would highly recommend.

My Nest learning thermostat learned my temperature needs within 3 days. It’s so easy to change the temperature, if needed. I love having the app on my phone so I can adjust the thermostat from anywhere.

Really does help to save on electric bill and love the eco setting. I also like that I can control it from my phone I don't have to walk upstairs to turn the air up or down. Installation was easy and instructions were very easy to follow.
