The Nest was easy to install, easy to program, and allows for remote access to turn down heat or A/C. Looks good too. Next step is to link with with Alexa.

The installation was fairly easy. The thermostat I was replacing this with wasn’t a complicated set up so changing the wires by following the set up instructions worked pretty well. I love being able to control the settings without having to go upstairs. Connecting this with google home was very simple as well. Overall, I’m very pleased

The Nest is the best thermostat on the market. Installation was beyond simple.

This would normally be a 5 star review. However the situation being that it was. 2 years and 2 days after my purchase(considering its a 2 year warranty) the wifi module went out on my previous Nest Thermostat. After contacting support at Google Nest which they do through Twitter, now X, they "regret" to inform me of this well known situation and that the only solution is to go and purchase a new one. So thats what this purchase is. A replacement unit for something that should have been warrantied by almost any other company. Seriously contemplated going a different thermostat route, but because of the unique nature of our heating and cooling on this home and the wiring all done, all I have to do is pull off the old one and plug the new one in and connect to my wifi and go. I decided for ease of use I would do that.

So easy to install that even a less than handy person like myself was able to put it together and make it work. Love being able to control the heat/cool from my phone and put it in "away" or "eco" mode when I leave the house for an extended period of time. Has already saved me money on energy bills, plus the product (in Illinois) was eligible for rebates from the electric and gas companies.

This is the best smart thermostat on the market. It looks amazing and functions great.

Very easy to install. I was worried as there was no “C” wire from our HVAC, but the thermostat works seamlessly. It learnt the preferences pretty accurately in a week. Only issue was that it did not detect home/away for my wife’s phone, but works fine with my phone. I also purchased a stainless steel back plate as the plastic one that comes in the box didn’t look good.

I can control temperature in my house remotely. Great when I'm on vacation or a business trip. Also purchased a separate zone sensor that allows me to fix a longstanding problem at my house of uneven heating that left my daughters freezing cold at night. Also, notably, it's helped bring my heating costs down. Smart...

I’m in love with my Nest Thermostat. I now have the ability to see and control the temperature in my home wherever I am (so long as I and my unit are connected to the internet). Setup was super easy. I believe it took me 20 to 30 minutes to install. That is from install to the wall, going through the setup menu from the beginning to the end, and seeing it pop up on my Nest app.

I have it setup with Works With Alexa. We have 2 floors, this is great in you are in bed and don't want to go downstairs to change the temperature. When we had to go to work you could setup a schedule so it would cool down your house before you arrive or increase the temperature when no one was home. It is pretty nice!

Easy to use, easy to set up and the app makes it easy to control eco mode when you leave the house just incase you left the ac running

Love my new thermostat. One less thing to worry about! My temperature is always great every minute of the day.

I have been looking at this Thermostat for a while waiting for the price to go down. it was a simple install, the set up took a little longer hooking up to the internet, I had my VPN active, as soon as i disabled it, the thermostat had no problem linking to the internet. I have not had it long enough to see the cost value

This replaced my old thermostat. Now I can update temperatures from my phone, look temps from the past week. The away/home feature is a nice touch l, although unless your on a normal schedule it doesn't seem to work amazingly.
