I love the design. The installation was easy. The software works well. I like that it knows when I am home. When I am not, it turns everything down to save energy. In my experience Nest is the one to buy.

We got this nest as an upgrade to the newer model. Im very happy with this model. Very sleek and controls the temp in my home even better.

This was installed in minutes and has learned our schedule very quickly. The convenience of being able to control the home temperature from our phones is so handy! Great device and would recommend to anyone!

I bought this primarily for the ability to connect to a remote thermostat (our home has multiple thermostats/zones). The Best Buy sales rep did a great job pointing out the feature works only with this stat, not the prior Nest. So, I paid more than I hoped for, but it was necessary for that feature. Other than that, it's been a good stat! :) We also have a number of Google appliances, so the connection/integration feature is nice, but not used much. It took me a few minutes to understand where to swipe, but once I figured that out, navigation is pretty intuitive. Installing the app on your phone seems necessary but not something I anticipate using. I'm an Android user, so no issues there with app. Partner is iPhone and haven't tried download. I have not yet set up programs/schedules yet (we're working from home mostly), but don't anticipate significant challenges. Overall...it's nice looking, easy to hook up (I like the built in level on the mounting plate!) and does what's is supposed to do...and much more that I haven't tried.

This product can be connected to the internet and you can allow the local electric company to adjust the settings on days when they need to limit electricity usage. These settings can be overwritten. Supposedly we got some additional rebates since we let it heat us up a bit from 2pm to 6pm on a couple of days. One of the nice features with this is that it cools your house a bit colder from 1:30ish to 2 so that it doesn't have to run as much during the peak period. It also connects to your phone so it knows if you are home or not, and if you are on your way home. (If you are comfortable letting it know that much about you.) If you have enabled this, it will let the house warm up to "away" levels then when the gps can tell you are on your way home Nest begins cooling your house so that it is comfortable by the time you get home.

So simple to install and use. Love the convinience of being able to adjust the temp from my phone no matter where I’m at. The usage history also shows how much my unit has run everyday so I can adjust accordingly in order to save money.

Nice product, works well so far. Looking forward to the Nest learning our coming/going so, it automatically sets the temperature schedule accordingly. Like being able to also see it on the app and adjust while not at home

Works great, easy install and the sun block is a nice feature. I like the fact I can see the history and see how this is saving us already. Install was easy.

This thermostat feels premium and comes with all the necessary hardware needed for the installation. Google Home app guides through the steps on how to connect various wires.

Easy install instructions, and comes with some tools! Works as described and is super easy to use. I love the schedule option! Totally worth the money. And you can control it with the app! It has helped me save money on my utility bill.

You don’t have to be an electrician to install this. Instructions are very helpful and it should start saving you money as soon as it’s installed. Nice to be able to control it from your device and super user friendly

Wanted a thermostat I could control remotely, including sitting on the couch. Took a little getting used to, but it performs well. Very satisfied

Installation was a snap, after looking at the install videos. Like anything, you have to get used to using them. Once you get the hang of them and they start learning your daily habits, they make house comfort easy.

Perfect for when you are in a hurry and away. You can control the temperature of your home. Learns your schedule and goes in eco mode when away. Uses GPS on phone to turn on heat when getting close to home. Love it!

The nest thermostat is great! I like how we able to link the google nest to our alarm system. This is very useful. We would recommend it to anyone who is interested in buying. This also very user friendly.

Love the nest thermostat. Nice look. Easy to use. Sadly couldn't get one to work with my upstairs unit for some reason but the main downstairs always works great

I have no electrical skills. I had questions about the installation on a holiday weekend. I did not expect to get any help. I called anyway. Customer service was not only available on a holiday weekend, BUT they even stayed on the phone with me for over 3 hours, walking me through the ENTIRE installation from out of the box to controlling my heater. The call went late and the agent stayed with me after hours. Answered all my questions without making me feel stupid. Followed up with safety points i didn't even consider. The NEST is great, very nice product. BUT the customer service is where this product shines. UNBEATABLE! You can buy other smart thermostats anywhere, but i bet they're not around on a holiday weekend on a Sunday after hours in the United States. Definitely recommend.
