very good to use with an app little bit on expensive side for sure

The installation of the Nest Thermostat is pretty straightforward. Make sure you verify your control unit wires are compatible before you purchase. Also, make sure you know what type of AC/Heater type you have (multi-stage, ect...). After two months of having it installed, I have saved roughly $150 each month. The remote capabilities are also a nice feature for those that would like to use it in a summer/winter home.

We purchased the Nest and installed it ourselves in our home in less than 15 minutes. The features and ease of use are amazing and the fact that it has already learned our schedules and is controlling our energy usage is awesome! I highly recommend this product to anyone wishing to lower bills in your home!

Nest learning thermostat is very easy to install. It is very convenient to control thru your phone remotely .

I love my Nest thermostat. It works great with my alarm system called SimpliSafe. When I turn on my alarm, if I set it up, My alarm system will automatically adjust my temperature. I can control it from my phone by raising or lowering the temperature before I get home or after I leave. I can set up my weekly schedule. It's the best thermostat I have ever owned. I highly recommend getting one. I liked it so much I purchased a second one for my upstairs.

Very easy to install, just follow the instructions. Online app makes it easy to program, if you do not want to do it manually on the unit itself. The self learning feature only takes a few days to know your heating and cooling pattern. Note: I would believe most homes would need to use the backing plate that come with the unit. All the photos of the unit mounted on the wall do not show the plate, only the unit.

I purchase this unit for my home. I have a 3 zone heating and cooling system in my house. Before opening the box but after buying the Nest I read on the box to verify the unit will work on your system. The box says it will work on over 95% of homes in the US. I guess I must be one of the 5 % it doesnt work on. What was frustrating is that I checked the website and it told me to email technical support to verify it will work in my home. I did that and the customer support department told me that it would work. And for a short period of time it did. Until I realized that my upstairs and downstairs zones no longer worked. So in the end I had to return the device. But for the time I had the Nest it was very cool to run and play with.

Works perfectly. I wish I installed the Google Nest thermostat a long time ago. It’s great to be able to set the temperature before I get home and be able to check the temperature upstairs from my phone.
