I called and cancelled it since they were back logged then went to Best Buy and bought one the same day in stock at my local store. This product is definitely a hit in our household

I love this thermostat! I can control it from anywhere from my phone. It has learned my schedule for the most part. It sets to a deferent temp when I'm home and when I'm away. It was a bit tricky to put in. The instructions were for an older model.

Very easy to install and use, seems to be already saving money on utilities.

I like this product, no longer have to worry about controlling my home temperature, pays for it self and save energy, I also got the 50 USD gift card from AP for using clean energy.

Wiring the device is as easy is going to the Nest website telling it which wires you have in your existing thermostat, it will then show you a diagram of how to connect the new thermostat and stickers you can wrap around your wires in case there are different colours. The only thing the instruction manual did not mention is there is a USB port on the back of the thermostat that you can use to charge a little it before you install it. My thermostat shut down during the installation process because the battery was low. I would recommend charging the device a little using a micro USB cable before installation. This has so far been the easiest thermostat to set up. Connection to the Nest app was easy. I would definitely recommend this product.

This works just like any thermostat plus the ability to change the temp from an app or alexa/google home. I love that I can change the temp using the app or my voice. It stopped working on us, but customer service for Nest was great and sent us out a new one with the return postage paid on the faulty one. We have not had a problem since.

We use 2 of these to control both floors of the house. It works well with Alexa and is easily programed both through the app and the device. They look great and every visitor comments on how cool these look. Install wasn't as straightforward as I thought even with connecting to new A/C's, the wiring didn't match up with the directions and/or website tutorial. Although a quick call to customer support resolved my issue quickly - take pics of the wiring BEFORE you disconnect the original thermostat. I'm very thankful I did as it made the support call effortless to get the wiring correct.

Bought this for the house this winter. Thought I'd give a smart thermostat a try and got to tell you...worth it. And best of all...it works as described...and even better, easy and I mean easy to install. If you live in the Chicago area, check out the nest site for a ComEd rebate of $100 too! Plus, Best Buy had the best price and shipped out for free and I received it the next day!

I was a little skeptical about being able to install the Nest thermostat myself but it turns out that turning removing the old thermostat was the hardest part! It was easy enough to match the wires that were coming out of the old thermostat and put them into the Nest. After some quick setup and checks, I found that the Nest was able to control my furnace and AC and I was done!

Read many reviews on the Nest thermostat, and all were correct this gadget learns quickly and savings start with in two day depending on your temp settings. Easy installing this item. Did this in 40 minutes. I Have mine set at Eco all day. House Is at a perfect temp, and I can say central air doesn't seem to cycle as much now since the nest has been installed.

I love these smart thermostat and I especially love being able to modify the heat or AC in the house prior to my arrival. I can also schedule my typical departures and arrivals, but there are always exceptions to every week. The mobile app is excellent.

I purchased and installed a competitor product first, but it quit working after 2 months! Just hit the same time period with this one and no problems so far. Build quality seems legit. App is simple and easy to use. I turned off all of the learning features and only control it myself. My favorite feature is probably the "far sight" where you can set it to display whatever relevant info when you look at it across the room.

We've had the Nest for about a month now. We really like its sleek design and interface. Love being able to control the temperature remotely.
