Too early to tell how much money it's saving, but daily history reviews and first Nest monthly report seem promising. Controls our forced air AC, gas heat, fan, and whole house humidifier perfectly. Even will circulate air (heat) with fan while humidifying to maintain target temperature and target humidity without using gas. Works well with a myriad of 3rd party apps. Strongly suggest IFTTT, ThermoStats, Yonomi, and maybe even the Wink app, whether or not you have their hub. Loves: Auto away mode and "nest sense" features. Eco settings. Heat/Cool as a single mode. Didn't love: The nest is supposed to learn from your behaviour... your temperature preferences at certain times set. It's supposed to learn your schedule. It should be "learned" in 9-14 days and then continually refine is program. After 5 weeks, ours still hasn't learned. After a call with tech support and some experimentation, have discovered it doesn't learn times or temperasure from manually setting ECO mode. To teach it, you must manually change target temperatures in a heat or cool mode. Basically, you'll have to teach it twice, once per season. The lack of operation instruction included really sucks and would have helpful here. From an experienced user/tester to a prospective buyer: Yes, we forsee this paying for itself. Don't let the "Didn't love" comment scare you. Buy it. Install it. Install the Nest app on anyone's phone who frequently visits the place/house (family, trusted babysitter, grandparents, children). Take the three minutes to manually program temperature (heat AND cool) preferences based on sleep schedule only. Enable all features of "Nest Sense" from the owners app. Disable on-thermostat motion detection if you have large or many pets. The Nest will the know when you've left the house. It doesn't matter if it's scheduled work or school, or an unscheduled pleasure outing. You won't have to wait for it to learn anything this way, even from day one, if you follow these steps. Let the nest handle the rest and enjoy the savings.

Combined with my Smart Phone, this Smart Wifi Thermostat adds amazing value. I can turn up, turn down, or turn off remotely as well as easily schedule and preset temperatures anywhere and any time!

Good thermostats. Easy to install and use. Integrates well with Google Home and Home Assistant.

The physical installation was very easy since I didn't have a special wiring configuration situation to figure out. The app made everything a breeze. The only thing I am not sure about is the AI functionality, it has not been adjusting the temprature and the data logs do not indicate it has been learning. So, why did this digital thermostat cost 3 times the amount of a basic digital unit? I'll wait and see for now.

I purchased the NEST as I was looking for convenience when it came to my AC/Heat Unit. I work an hour away from my home and I love being able to cool my home before I am there on a hot day. Also, my utility companies were offering some great rebates which work with NEST on certain Save Energy Days. Just an awesome purchase.

its awesome product, specially I when you hook it up with google home ... just ask google to do anything you want its automatic...download the app on everybody phone and it will work at is finest (you will have to leave the location on so it can track when you away) for it to track when you home or not...

Very good product, convenient at its best. I can adjust my house’s temperature when I was away, and Eco mode helps save even more energy. Very glad I bought this before winter.

It may seem expensive but this will pay for itself fairly quickly. Being able to put your thermostat on a schedule or even the fact that it can recognize when you are home or not and adjust temperature accordingly saves a lot of money. I absolutely love being able to adjust the thermostat from downstairs via my phone app.

I love this product Initially didn't work well with my home heating Unit but it was due to my Dual run Capacitor that was broken After the Furnace tune up and this install it works like a champ. Must have for any home the App is Very convenient to control the home temperature from anywhere in the world.

Works great. Use this at our second home. The wireless capability adds a piece of mind. I use it with a heat pump central air. I like the eco function and it notices when someone is home and automatically reduces energy use when no one is around

Highly impressed whith Nest. Easy to set up and use.

This manages the temperature so much better than my old thermostat. It was definitely time for an upgrade!! It was easy to install and reliable.

We are still new to the Nest but happy so far with design and features. A pleasant surprise was that it also controls our humidifiers.

It really is convenient to be able to change the house temperature from my phone. When I'm trying to get myself out of bed on a chilly morning, I set the temp up a couple degrees and that really helps!! I don't like programming the thermostat because my needs change often... but it has great capability for that too!

Pretty straight forward in swapping out the old with the Nest. Was able to set it up on the Wi-Fi and with Google Home. I can give my Google mini a voice command to set, raise or lower the temp. It's learning algorithm is pretty slick as well. Haven't really had to do anything after about the first week.

This Nest thermostat is so easy to use. It is so great that you can adjust the temperature of the house from wherever your at!

I decided the first floor unit worked out so well that we would purchase a second unit for the second floor. It's made a great addition to the heat savings and also now allows us to make temperature settings in bed with our cell phones. Kind of nice in the cold winter months to not have to get up to change the temp!

This replaced an old school electronic thermometer for our home. Alone, this is a much nicer, easier to read, and more handsome choice. Pair it with the Nest smoke detectors (we did) and you have an amazing convergence of technologies. Not cheap, but well worth it.

So far so good, definitely hook up to google home if need tutorial get call google or go on line for specific set up display or other questions besides going to best buy as well. Love that can talk to google home besides the app for the setting .
