I like being able to control it from my phone, I like the learning habits with temperature. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for something just smart and simple. Nothing like the old thermostats we’ve been used to. Also, super easy setup!

Love the convenience to change temp settings from anywhere.

Unfortunately when I first installed it, it completely blew a fuse in my HVAC but after I replaced it in 5 min it worked perfectly fine. Stylish and simple to use. Has helped allot with energy conservation in our new home. It was a good purchase

I bought this to try it out in my house and I have been happy with is since day one of my purchase. it has kept my house between target temperatures and being able to control it from my phone is the best part. The Eco feature of it is awesome as well as the Away feature whenI am not home.

Love this thermostat. Ability to control the temperature remotely. Wish it would be easier to lock the temperature for times you are away. Need to do more reading to better utilize the learning option. Not convinced it does a good job of that. Also seems like the temperature needs to be higher than our old digital thermostat.

Great product! Easy to use once the app is installed on your phone. I love that I can turn on the ac before I get home and turn it off without having to go downstairs.

Love the Nest. It was very easy to install, easy to see the temp., and I really love how I get updates via email about energy saving tips. But the best thing about the Nest is that is programs itself based off of my usage. I love that I didn't have to set it up. Great little device.

We have Vivint Security systems for about four years now. We were using their Thermostats before . Recently We changed it to Nest Thermostat and the results are aw some. It's worth spending a little more for this Excellent Thermostat.

Easy to install and set up, tech support is great and saves energy. The Away feature (now called Eco) is great, every time I am away from my home more than 30 minutes it reverts to my preset temperatures for energy savings. Great when traveling, can check home temps and change as needed from anywhere.

Have loved using this thermostat. Great to change when I’m gone and have been very pleased with stability of the connection. I have a somewhat complicated setup with a dual fuel furnace and it works great and is super customizable.

You have to love technology. This was a great buy. Every time I ask my wife to lower/raise the AC/Heat before she leaves for work she would forget. This allows me to make sure my AC isn't on all day long with no one home at 70 degrees. I recommend this for any homeowners and married man for that matter!

Purchased this in order to better regulate the temperature in the house. This thermostat has helped lower energy costs in both summer and winter. The ability to change and set the temperature from an iPhone app is also very useful.

Love it. Love it. Remembers your temp settings for different times of day, home/away settings turns unit to eco setting (you set a range of higher/lower temps when not in the house. saves $$$), mobile app lets you do it all sitting down or away at work, easy installation even for novices.

I love my nest. I can control it from anywhere and I can always rely on the fact that my home will be cool or warm when I get home. It was been the best purchase among home improvement and cost saving gadgets that I have ever bought! I am so glad I changed my old thermostat to the nest!

We purchased two Nest 3 thermostats as part of an energy upgrade to a newly purchased home and couldn't be happier with them. From an energy-savings perspective, the learning function immediately saved us 10-12 percent on our electric bills during the hottest summer months and didn't require the hassle and trial-and-error of a traditional programmable thermostat. Our electric company also gave us multiple rebates for buying a Wi-Fi connected thermostat and enrolling in energy-saving programs, totaling nearly half the purchase price. From a convenience perspective, we love being able to adjust the temperature without getting up and walking halfway across the house and not having to remember to change the temperature to something more energy-efficient when we leave the house. All in all, a great purchase and highly recommended.

Already seeing a big difference in the power consumption. It knows when nobody is home and goes to an economic mode. It takes a little bit to learn our patterns but we don't have a rigid schedule. Even with that, it still does very well figuring out what temperature we want at what time.

The installation instructions were very thorough which resulted in an extremely easy installation. The unit has been installed for a little over a month now, and so far, no problems to report. The app for the thermostat is very nice and has come in handy several times already.

I got this thermostat because I recently started to make everything in the household "smart". You can schedule Temps for all hours of the day and it will eventually just know when to change temperatures on its own. It will use Google forecast to lower our raise the temperature on its own. It even comes with a function to help you consume less electricity and shows you how much you've saved on their website.
