The Nest smart thermostat is really efficient. I am enjoying the features. It was easy to install.

This is a great thermostat, I have had no problems what so ever and i have got my family members to get it also, they all love it as well, great way to save money and stay the right temp. Works great with google assistant.

The unit works well. It is saving us $$$ by adjusting when we are not at home. It learns your schedule, so the house is comfortable when we return from work. Great to be able to verify the temperature of the house and make changes from anywhere with you phone.

The Nest is my second smart home thermostat. While the function between the two is similar I much prefer the clean function and overall aesthetic of the Nest. The unit seems well built and feels solid once installed.

I love our Nest thermostat. It is so easy to control via the app and schedule temperatures at different times of the day. I am obsessed with the look of it too. It’s so sleek and much more appealing than a normal thermostat.

Installed to work with hydronic baseboard heat only. Ugh! Had me worried as so many different settings to choose from and nothing specifically noting hydronic heat just “radiant” heat. It did take some time to learn (not sure if because of type of heating system) so I thought it wasn’t working initially and I kept changing the settings which didn’t help. Almost returned it. Best to set it up and forget it. I found the app a little buggy (iPhone 6s). Sometimes when away it had me logged as being “Home” so I took the “auto scheduling” off. It learns the times you prefer your heat turned up and down anyway so once I got that figured out, all was well. Didn’t have to touch it after a few days. Some learning curve but totally worth it. Customer service was also responsive and took time over phone to ensure all was set up properly. The price can be shocking but if you’re into cool gadgets and wanna change your heat setting from anywhere using an app, it’s for you.

we always forget to adjust the thermostat when we leave, but now I can adjust it while at work. We also have a nest speaker in the bedroom and we can just ask google to set the temperature I want to before I go to sleep. great product.

I've owned the ecobee and that works well too, but I like the look and feel of the Nest a lot. The learning mode is a but annoying at first because it changes up the temperature on you but I guess that's how you can save energy later.

Bought this product due to my first gen nest finally giving out. Same day pick up within a couple hours and easy install. Has been an amazing purchase!

A thermostat you have to set twice and never touch again is the best kind. From the hot weather, this has learned our preferred temperature at the proper times and prevented us from touching it at all. With winter around the corner, I'm looking forward to its heating schedule as well.

We have had the Nest thermostat for a little over a year now, We absolutely LOVE it! I am pretty sure we are coming close to having it pay for itself at this point! It is so easy to use and so convenient and it makes saving energy and in turn saving on your electric/gas bills SO easy

We just moved and I had to leave our old Nest at that property. So I bought a new one for the new house. I love the functionality of controlling the temperature of the home from the comfort of my bed or 100 miles away on our way home.

Very easy to set up and got a deal on it. Plus our utility provider has an additional rebate. Wonderful thermostat easy to control from the nest app of via Alexa. No complaints. Already saved a fair amount of money on the utility bill

Good for those lazy of us, you can control it from the phone and also got it very easily hooked up to google home. Also has a learning feature for those who have it on all the time but its not useful for us as we just turn it off when not using to cool or heat up the place.

Review for Nest Thermostat 3rd Gen Stainless Steel. Love this thing! Not sure if it's more about the thermostat or the fact that I don't have to get up in the middle of the night to adjust the temp as I did before. Now, as you may have heard in reviews as I did before purchasing, it does have some flaws. Today the Eco mode came on when my wife left for work but I was still home asleep. I knew the house felt cold for some reason. Seems if it doesn't sense movement over a certain amount of time it switches to Eco. Never really did that before today. For those that don't know, there is a mode of degree range you set for when you're not home called Eco Mode. It keeps the home from using energy when it senses that no one is there but automatically keeps the temps from becoming dangerously hot or cold. On another note, when setting, the temp seems to sway 1 or 2 degrees from what it's set for. So if it's set to 75 it will shut off around 76, and turn on around 74. From what I've read in other reviews and forums, this is possibly to keep it from switching on and off so frequently. For these reasons I give it 4 stars.Think they may have tried to make it do too much whereas it falls short of accuracy on a few features. But for my need (which was the convenience) it is great. I can live without some of the other stuff, just switch it off. I'd say this device (as with any) is something that's according to you or your family's needs. Some features in your phone you don't use, as some other people do. Find out what you can or can't live without in your best interest. I got tired of getting up and down when I finally get comfortable. Either way it's better than your old thermostat that's downstairs or across the room that you have to change in the middle of the night. That alone makes it worth it to me!!

I was a little reluctant on buying this item as I've heard people talk badly about smart thermostat's and it actually running up electric bills. Not so at all, this thing is amazing. It's not all that easy to install as the videos state. Luckily my brother the HVAC tech installed it for me or else it would still be in the box. Depending on how old your house is, will depend upon how easy it is to install yourself. But once it is installed it is amazing!

Beyond the fact that I had some installation issues (related to the wiring of old thermostat vs this model), which were quickly resolved with a quick Google search, the device has functioned flawlessly. Even reduced my energy bill by half!
