Totally worth the price simply for the the convience and smart technology. It learns and changes the temperature throughout the day saving you money. It really is wonderfully and such a high tech looking piece.

Love the Nest! I have not had it for too long but it is learning the temps we like in the house and setting a tad lower which in the end will help with the bills. So far so good!

This thermostat is a lifesaver, and a money saver. I can connect to it from work and turn it on so my house is nice and cool when I get home and I can set a schedule for when I'm home so the ac will turn up or down automatically as the day goes on

Great quality and feel. Easy to use and set up. If you have rooms that cool more or less than others, the additional sensors add great features to manage your place to your ideal temperature.

It did take me some time to figure out how to set it up and use it but now I really like it. It has some very cool features like turning down the heat when I leave the house and turning back up when I return home through their app.

I switched to this from using Honeywell programmable, touchscreen thermostats for years. This can do all the same and more. Will definitely buy again.

This is the best thermostat that learns how you want the temperature in your house. It is also extremely accurate at knowing whether someone is in the house or not and when to adjust the temperature. It also has a very easy to use app.

Used it to replace a 2 wire thermostat! Works great, we have it connected it to our Google home and its amazing. When we leave the house it lowers the Temperature (gps activated)

At first I was hesitate to spend that much in a thermostat but the features are fantastic. I'm able to link the Nest with my ATD security system and Google Home. The device knows when I leave the house and adjusts the thermostat accordingly.

I like how I can control the temperature of my AC from my cellphone. However there is one thing I want to address here. Notifications. I like how Nest offers an Auto-Away feature based on your phone's location. However it would give me a peace of mind that the feature is actually working by sending me notifications when the status of my AC has changed (from Home to Auto-Away and vice versa).

I had been contemplating on purchasing the NEST for awhile. I finally made the purchase and I am so glad u did! Installation was super easy, the controls are amazing! If you are looking to reduce you energy consumption this is the device for you.

Replaced 1st Gen works very well. It gets trained while you make adjustments and an energy saver.
