love this so much we purchased it as a gift. the app makes it easy to control temp for your house when away or too lazy to get out of bed. love the ability to add the cameras to check in on our dogs when away at work.

Love that we can control our thermostat from anywhere & that my home stays a more constant temperature without big fluctuations we were getting with our old thermostat.

It was very easy to install and set up. I love being able to turn on the AC or fan using my phone from my upstairs office or while laying in bed in the middle of the night.

I had some issues with the farsight activating but I realized that my nest battery was low so I had to charge it using a micro USB. Easy setup!

My wife and I love the control of our home temp - home or away. We can activate the cool or heat on our way home and have it just right for our 10 month old. In addition, our utility bill has declined by over 10%.

This is our second Nest, as our first gen after 5 years started failing due to a lighting strike. Very easy to install, set up and a good value.

We bought this to be able to control heat/air from multiple devices. It has served that purpose. While it was supposed to be compatible with our system we did have to have a service technician come out and install since we couldn't get it to run. All is well now. Only drawback is I can't change the settings without my husband seeing it even if he isn't home!

Excellent thermostat. Originally bought basic model but it was not working properly. Replaced it with this one and it worked out of the box with no issues.

Works well with my 15 year old system. It was easy to install; took minutes. The learn mode helps save money. This is my second nest in the house and I love it.

This product is a huge energy saver! Smartphone app is easy to use and convienent. I actually received a nest that didn't work, but after a little shopping dilemma nest sent me a brand new thermostat without no questions.

I never thought having a smart thermostat would be awesome. I save and I don't have to get up to adjust the temp. I connected it to my Amazon echo and works great together

This is the second time I've had Nest HVAC controllers in a home. I think the convenience of being able to check and adjust settings from your phone/tablet alone is enough. Pare that with built in weather, inside humidity info, "smart" activation times to achieve the desired temperature by a set time, the ability to turn it off when you're away, and eco settings are all priceless.

The Nest controls the temperature better than any thermostat I've used. Having one installed upstairs and another downstairs allows me to control them both, from my computer or my phone.

Sometimes developers are out of touch with reality and live in a closet. This is a great Thermostat with some great features and one annoying flaw. There have been 3 generations and countless software updates, but for some reason they refuse to add a real temperature Hold feature. The only way to "Hold" the temperature if you set up you own schedule is delete your manual schedule. The auto feature is good if you have a routine but if your schedule varies from week to week, or month to month the manual setup is better. If I have people over and they are going in and out of the house I want to set the A/C at a higher setting so my A/C is not constantly running. If you set a new temp it will change at the next scheduled temperature time. The room sensors are also great however you can not adjust the time windows for morning , midday, and Night. I've owned this product (1st and 2nd Gen) for 7 years the Purchase date is the most recent purchase the 3rd gen which incorporates the Sensors.

Pretty cool connects to wifi smd you can change it from your phone so you dont have to get up

Expensive but I like it much better than Ecobee. It looks better on the wall and I also like the app better.

Had a gen 1 that finally died. Bought this as a replacement. They are so easy to install now! Love my nests.
