I got this as my best friend already had one installed in her home and she was rave about it. I haven't noticed a major difference in air flow, temperature stability or whatever; but my power bill has been lower! Another thing I like about it is that it takes into account when we're not in the house, so depending on how much travel we do this year I should be able to see more of a difference in energy conservation in the form of a much lower power bill.

The Nest came with everything to install it. The instructions made it very easy to set up. We’ve been using it for 3 weeks now and you can see how much energy your saving when it’s in eco mode.

Compared to most thermostats, the Nest is extremely intuitive. They offered plenty of installation instructions to make it easy for anyone to replace their old thermostat with. Perfect for making your home a smart home!

I purchased a 3rd generation Nest thermostat and installed it. I had one issue with this. To charge its batteries, the Nest needs a C (common) wire hooked up; otherwise it tries to charge itself whenever the heating or cooling system is running -- the only time current is passing through it. When I hooked one of my Nests up, it said it needed to charge its batteries, and even though my house had no need for cooling or heating, it turned my HVAC on for hours to charge its batteries. I researched, found out what the problem was, and hooked up a C wire (luckily my HVAC controller had a place to hook up a C wire and my thermostat wires each had three extra wires in them). Good luck to anyone without an extra wire to use.

So far so good! It looks great and though I’m still learning about it.. I’m very happy with it. I hope to save energy with it and excited to have a smart thermostat.

Works great although the away function that works with your cell phone can be buggy if your phone goes off wifi - the Nest will default to away mode, which could be the middle of the night. I've woken up twice in the freezing cold because of this. I think this is an app refresh problem. Other than that, this device is great and starts saving you money straight away.

Living in an area with wide temperature swings used to be a pain with our old thermostat, with this one it’s a piece of cake to set the minimum and maximum temperatures and setup a schedule for when we are not home to conserve energy. Also being able to monitor and adjust it from anywhere remotely is great if changes need to be made. Having the ability to add remote temperature sensors is awesome as the thermostat is located in an area more susceptible to influence from outside changes allowing us to make sure the rooms we spend the most time in stay the desired temperature. I would absolutely recommend purchasing one of these for your home!

Had the Gen 1 and left it at the house when we sold it, bought two of the Gen 3's for our new dual zone climate control system in the new house, works great! Like the larger screen and options of display, like weather.

Always wanted one of these, then got one on sale. Easy to install, just make sure you take a pic of your old thermostat wiring before you install, makes it a much simpler process.

hands down the best smart thermo on the market, I use them at all my rentals. so easy to manage from a single g home app. pick one up and save money on electric!

I love all he features the Nest offers. Especially the capability to learn habits and adjust the temp when home and not home. I also like the wifi capability so i can turn the AC on before i get home to cool the house.

Awesome look and feel. Most modern thermostat there is. Good functionality even if you don’t need it it’s nice to have the option for future updates

Even compared to the previous version, this feels like it is a well needed upgrade. The basic design is the same but the interface is much smoother and the setup seems more intuitive.

I would not own another thermostat. Easy to use. Would recommend.

Wife was getting way to hot! Got this baby to cool her down!

I love everything about this thermostat. The only thing that I didn't particularly like is the learning feature, it felt like it would make it too cold when it thought it was too hot. I have been having to manually change it so that I don't get too cold. Everything else works amazingly. Integrates really well with Google Assistant.

I am really enjoying the new Nest thermostat. After the first month it has done all I expected. The thermostat learns your schedule quickly and the auto-away feature only improves the energy savings when paired with your phone.

I upgraded from the 1st generation Nest to the 3rd generation. This product is very simple to install as it only took about 15 minutes start to finish. Both the app and web based platform allow you to easily program a schedule.
