This thermostat does two things that I have been looking for: Intelligently controls temperature for the house and sends a notification to me if the temperature gets too low.

This is a wonderful product. Took a few minutes to install and setup. Love the fact I can turn it on and off from my phone. Check the temperature, also it let's you see how to save energy.

Purchased two Nest learning thermostats and so wanted them to work. After 6hours of customer support, my home was deemed incompatible, due to a C wire. Home is less than 2 years old. Fan would not turn off and nest face would not charge. Nest customer service was fantastic. However, i do believe; Nest needs make some minor changes to make the unit more compatible. They offer to reimburse for the cost of a C WIRE install, with a limit of $300. Since i needed two units installed (C wire) the cost was way higher. With the price of the nest, i didnt feel the investment was worth additional costs. Was sadly disappointed and let down. If nest is offering to assist with Cwire install (up to $300), Why not upgrade the product (allow for batteries) and or add an adapter which incorporates the C wire (like ecobee). Nest can do better.

Super neat how it learns our patterns. Gives us updates and lets us know how our usage is going. Love being able to use the app to change the temp from anywhere.

Wanted a smart thermostat and after research of the top two I choose the nest. Easy install and easy set up. Definitely worth the money and seeing a savings already

I gave this to my sons and the loved it. I offered to pay for the installation, but they told me it was not necessary. They installed it theirselves with ease.

This is just so owesome . I can be anywhere and check the status , lower it or set it higher right on the app. Very modern and amazing looking .. motion feature is pretty cool .

This thermostat is amazing, I add a temperature sensor on my room so I always get the right temperature when I am sleeping

I work in the tech space and it's always nice getting my hands on a new piece of tech. I had an ecobee before the Nest and while it does have remote sensors it does not have the vast support of third parties and their devices. The Nest has the "Works with Nest" network giving it many more options then any other product in the space. I have yet to have any issues using it and have seen about a 11% saving in my cooling bills, living in Phoenix. Mainly because of the auto away feature that is nice for people who are away the majority of the day. No real setup required and the auto learning takes effect after a week, at which time you don't even have to think about it.
