Initial Nest Thermostat went bad after a couple of days, Best Buy exchanged without hassle. Second thermostat has worked without a hitch since then. Neat upgrade for the home.

We upgraded our Nest so we can use the temperature pods. Made a huge difference since the TV is so close to the Nest thermostat.

This works great to be able to control your temperature at home when you aren’t home. Recognizes when you aren’t home and goes into ECHO mode.

I've had a Next 2nd generation for a couple of years and it's worked so well that I got a Nest for my son's house. Now I can monitor and manage both houses. Economical - it learns your habits and uses the knowledge to reduce energy consumption when you're not home or when you're sleeping. Convenient - the furnace or A/C can fire up when you're a few minutes away from home so the house is comfortable by the time you walk in the door. And it works with Google Home or Amazon Echo so you can start the heat just as you're getting ready to shower, and then dial it back when you're dressed, all with voice commands.

This thermostat helps us reduce unwanted use of the AC or heater. It seamlessly learned our daily routine and adapts for our needs

This was my first wifi enabled thermostat. Love the convenience of being able to control it from my phone and through Alexa.

Very easy to install and set up. I bought two over a month ago and I love them. Make sure that you check with your gas/electric company. Many offer a $100 rebate per unit.

A little pricey but I wanted it to team with my Cameras and soon to be Nest Protects. With exception to a minor difficulty getting the operating display to fit snugly on the backplane, the installation was fast and VERY easy. To avoid my minor issue, be sure to tighten the screws on the mounting plate..

It's not your Dad's thermostat for sure. It's a learning curve for me, but Next customer care is there just a phone call away to answer any of my questions. Nice to see and operate it with my smart phone. I like the way it adjusts when we leave the house by itself.

I did a lot of research before I settled on the Nest and I'm so glad I did. The Nest syncs with Alexa and I like the option of controlling the temp while I'm away.

Easy to set up and to follow along with the instructions. First thermostat I’ve replaced and I did it under 10 minutes.
