I've had the Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd generation for about 5 weeks now. It was a cinch to hookup to my HVAC system and get connected to my home WiFi and creating my Nest account went without a hitch too. It's been working fine for the 5 weeks I've had it and would recommend this to anyone looking to add to their smart home setup.

Very easy to use and install. Very happy with the product overall

I have enjoyed the process of turning my home into a smarter home. This product makes that so much easier also. Set it and forget it. I like the fact that I can always make adjustments through my smart phone and even control it with my bedside Google home unit. You cannot go wrong with this unit, unless you just don't like circles..

This is my 2nd Nest Thermostat, I previously had the Gen2. I replaced a Honeywell smart thermostat in our new home and it's a huge upgrade to that, however it's not a huge upgrade vs the Gen2. The reason I purchased was for the white color ring. Which looks amazing. I also received a significant discount from my utility provider.

Is has been a very good investment since it has helped me keep my electricity bill low since it helps keep the large concealers inside my house.

Easy to set up if you follow the instructions and don't try to wing it. Third one I've used now in second house. Really easy to use. No complaints. It will learn your habits, and you can set a schedule so you don't have to remember to turn it back when you go to bed, go to work, etc. Adding sensors is a breeze.

Very Happy. The Nest delivers as promised. Reducing Temps in the evening and warmer temperatures great us when we greet the morning. The bonus was the ease of installation, I was apprehensive but, installation was easy, and for a guy with 2 left Thumbs, that's saying something.

Easy to install, simple to set up. Love that it memorizes how our heat/electric runs and creates a Schedule. I still can’t get it set up with Alexa but it’s ok. When I have my home to away it automatically changes to away from home, and saves more energy which is awesome.

First installed two at my home, then 33 at my businesses, and most recently two for my second home. I love the remote management. Trouble free!

Easy to install. Easy to setup. Easy to use. Love the far sight feature which makes it easy to view the thermostat from a far. The integration into my smart home was easy and added more smart routine like locking the front if the nest went into away more.

This thermostat is amazing and super user friendly

This is my 2nd Nest 3rd Gen Smart Thermostat. 1st was installed 6 mos ago for our upstairs HVAC zone. I like it well enough to get another for our downstairs HVAC zone. Best lesson learned from 1st Nest: Don't let anyone install a Nest thermo without having a hot (power) wire connected to the Nest otherwise when the Nest's backup battery runs out the Nest will die disabling the HVAC. I had to have an licensed electrician diagnose the problem & run a hot wire to the Nest because the Nest installer did NOT know about the necessity of the hot wire because the Nest worked great once installed...for 30 days, then while we were away from home during winter weather everything shutdown. ! I knew the system was out as monitoring it online indicated so. At anytime, I can check on the Nest using the Nest App. I can also ask Alexa for very limited information like, "what's the temperature in the upstairs mid bedroom?" The App provides much more extensive details and options, i.e. adjusting the temperature. Upstairs is empty-nested, so there's usually no one there to use it, so I haven't had any experience yet with using it's "smart" capabilities. The new one will be smart enabled so it can learn our habits via experience and make adjustment without having to make on-the-spot personal adjustments. I am anxious to see how that works out! Most significant downside: Alexa is not yet sophisticated enough to do all she's asked to do regarding the Nest thermostat...might have to wait for the development of a "Smart Alexa" to be capable of working with a "Smart Nest" thermostat! Regarding the Nest Sensors. I love having the option of determining which of the upstairs rooms need to be comfortable for occupants. The sensors can allow that. Smart suggestion: Check online with your area's gas/electric service provider for rebates for installing Smart Thermostats. I got a $125.00 rebate for my 1st and have application for $100.00 rebate for my 2nd.

My main concern was if the next was a true dual fuel thermostat. It is. I had it professionally installed and the $80 installation was well spent because he was a Nest Pro. Told me more than I needed to know or can remember. I have two thermostats and will buy another which I will install myself. It just works great for everything I want to do.

I can’t believe I didn’t get it earlier. I already notice a drop in our bill and being able to see a more accurate gauge of the house temp is fantastic. Love that I can turn on the heat before I get home from work. Worth every penny.
