From box to wall and onto my phone. This is by far the easiest item I have install in my house. After I use it for couple weeks, it starts to know what I have done. Off when I am away. On before I got home. Is it the best? Not until you have own one of this.

bought this to upgrade from my ancient thermostat. it was easy to install and set up with the apps. I also received a $75 discount from SDG&E.

Love my Nest. It helps save a little money and looks great on the wall. I love the convenience of controlling my temperature even from states away.

Wiring process could be better. I followed the app for the wiring process. I had an ac guy come by for a different issue and he said the wires were in the wrong places. He fixed the wires and other issue. The best is running great!

this is a great tool to use when home or away! i can use this from my smart watch or phone. this tracks when i use it and how much energy i use.

We have three thermostats in the house, two are now Nests. We added this one so that I can adjust the temp using my phone app from just about anywhere. Getting it to hold one temp is not straightforward, but it has a lot of capabilities that are useful.

I was skeptical of a smart thermostat but I must say I am pleased with my purchase. Its easy to set up and operate which is a major plus.

We already had a programmable thermostat, so I'm not sure how much more money we will save, but I like that I can turn the thermostat up or down from my phone if I realize we are going to be out of the house, or are coming home earlier than the usual program is set for.

Much better look and fell than the older version. The app is more informative.

I've had this Nest thermostat for about 6 months now and it does its job well. I like the feature where it tracks the usage and "learns" to adjust accordingly. It integrates with other home automation devices so that you can keep track of them, and write custom IFTTT codes.
