Great product BUT you NEED a common wire

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super simple to install IF you have a (blue) common wire ran to your current thermostat. My home was built in 07’, current thermostat did not require a common wire but luckily one was installed just not connected so all I had to do was connect one end up in the attic to the furnace to make it “live” and then plug it into the nest. It SAYS you can use the Nest without one but what ended up happening was my AC system would run for 30 seconds and then shut off for 10 and then kick back on. Certainly not healthy for the unit! This happens because the nest needs more power to charge its battery and my AC system didn’t take to that kindly.
