Very good thermostat. A little pricey but worth the investment if you like to control your home at ease. The install was easy and from what I understand, this is one of the only smart thermostats that can function properly without a direct power line which is not in most old home's wiring.

This is my second Nest thermostat. I recently moved, had one in my previous house and missed it very much. I grew accustomed to interfacing with the thermostat remotely and its ability to learn our preferences for cooling and heating our house. Very user friendly.

I’ve had my eye on the Nest Learning Thermostat for about a year, reading a lot of reviews before finally purchasing. Replacing our old thermostat with the Nest was very easy, though getting it seated so we could do the set up was frustrating. We finally got it seated correctly, but it took several tries. If that happens to you, don’t give up! Make sure all the wires are securely in place, too. It works well with our heat pump. Our home has remained at a comfortable temperature and the Nest learned our habits within a week.

We just moved to this house and had a Nest in our previous house so after a major remodel we installed a new Nest. It works and looks great and we enjoy the ability to control it when we travel or from our phones anytime.

It was easy to install. It is very convenient to be able to adjust the temperature remotely. It has worked as advertised.

I have owned an older version of the Nest Thermostat and had a few problems that were taken care of and replaced by Nest for free. I moved into a new house and bought two 3rd generation thermostats for the upper and lower areas of the house. They are easy to install (30 minutes) and very stunning on the wall compared to a standard squared thermostat. So far, I have no issues with both of them and love the ease of use with the Nest/Google app! Worth the money!

The device looks modern and clean, but it’s not really smart. It’s more convenient if anything to be able to control the temperature from your smart phone. That’s basically what your paying for.

I installed this about 3 weeks ago and after a week went by, it learned my schedule and automatically scheduled itself to turn on and off when I needed it to. It's also nice to be able to control it from my phone when I'm not there. Another nice feature is its ability to be connected to my chamberlain MyQ garage door and my kwikset kevo front door lock so when I leave the house and it "sees" that no one else is home, it automatically goes into away mode.

Easy installation! Love the way it looks. Easy to install and easy to use. Great purchase!

Have not had it quite long enough yet to speak on its energy saving abilities, but overall it was very easy to install without professional help and it is very simple and intuitive to use. Being able to control your home's thermostat from away from the house provides peace of mind and very useful functionality that you will no longer want to live without! It functions very well with the rest of our Google Smart home ecosystem.

The Nest thermostat is easy to install in most cases. I was able to install it in my house with a heat pump, gas furnace, and humidifier. When I purchased one for my brother, all went well until realizing he had two wires for his humidifier instead of one required by Nest. After talking to the helpful Nest tech support representative, it was decided to call a local HVAC company to modify the humidifier to use only one wire. Since then, things have been working well. We both find them easy to operate both in person and the app.

Bought 2 of these because my son has 2 systems in his house, and they was his Christmas present. Since he has the heat pump system X 2 we was not sure how to install them because of the wiring and set up needed. He had a trained tech come and with 2 guys doing it the whole job took less than 45 minutes start to finish and they are working great. So if you are working on making your home a smart home they are worth the price.

Enjoy having the flexibility of a learning thermostat to help automate my personal settings. Very easy and intuitive to use and is linked to my lighting system as well as my smoke detectors with nest. Also love having the ability to control things while away from home to make sure everything is ready for me upon return.

Overall excellent product. Works great. Love that I can be anywhere and turn my Heat/AC on/off. I can keep it set low to save on fuel when I'm not home and then turn it up when I'm on my way home. A lot of programmable thermostats you just set the times and temps you want and when you want. At least with this I can adjust it and not have to change my schedules. I love the eco feature that if it senses no one is home it kicks down to 50 degrees which is great if you forget to change it. Lots of other cool features as well. The only thing I dont like is for some reason, I'll wake up every once in a while and it will be pumping out 70 degrees when it's set to 60.

Pretty easy to install and setup. Works great and lets me control temperature and settings remotely.

I love this thermostat. It is easy to use and quick. You can adjust it from your phone as well. The only downside is that it doesn't have a removable battery. My unit wasnt getting enough electricity to maintain the battery and after a year it killed the battery and stopped working. I bought another nest and ran an extra wire to keep it charged and it has been flawless.

The fact that I can control my thermistat from my phone is fabulious! The nest works great and is very easy to install and operate.
