Easy self installation. Easy to connect to WiFi. Like having ability to set a high and low temperature for heating and air conditioning.

I absolutely love the ability to control my home thermostat from my phone. It’s easy to change the temperature, program, and read the current temp. I have had zero problems with nest and am so glad I purchased it. I also love how it records your temps and usage so you can look back on how much energy you are using and at what times.

love these thermostats for the most part. They look great and the ability to control them from anywhere is nice when you want to come home to a comfortable temperature but not have to run your A/C all day for example. The only downside I have seen so far is the inability to lock a temperature in and keep it there. I have not found a way to do this yet. i understand it defeats the purpose of a "smart" thermostat but sometimes, you just want to hold a temperature.

I've owned every generation of Nest Thermostats and this is the best one yet. Small, sleek, highly functional and very easy to use. Some might find it's built-in weather forecast to be a party trick but it does come in quite handy and is an unexpected surprise beyond it's core command and control of your HVAC system from anywhere you happen to be.

Product comes pre-installed checklist to make sure it is compatible with your existing system which is nice. Installation is quite simple, just make sure you label the wires when you disconnect the old unit to simplify installation. Setting up with home WiFi is a snap. App works great, both iOS and Android. SCE and SoCal Gas rebate clinched the deal.

My 3rd Nest in 10 years. Hopefully this one lasts longer. Boards failure in my Gen 1. Optical scroll sensor failed in my Gen 2. I was torn between this and the ecobee. Kinda hate that google owns nest now, but familiar platform and features kept me from switching to ecobee. All that aside, this thermostat is simple to install, simple to use, and should save you money.

Coolest looking thermostat I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot in my life, I would say easily over 25. Really though, the Nest does exactly what is promises. Easy to use, I've saved money on heating this winter, and the app is great. My utility company gave me a $75 rebate for buying it. Install was easy too, anyone can do it. Highly recommend this product.

The Nest is by far my favorite appliance or tool in my home. I couldn't be more pleased. I enjoy everything about it, from it's looks to it's functionality. The best thing is the ability to monitor and control my thermostat from anywhere!

After moving in to our new place, I decided to upgrade our old thermostat to a new smart thermostat. I was debating between an Ecobee and a Google nest one. Ended up with the google nest because it is much simpler and much more elegant!

My existing thermostat system may be different from other homes, but I did not have difficulty installing Nest thermostat on my own. Easy to follow Nest app instructions with illustrations. The Nest itself works perfectly. I could adjust it on the unit itself, my Google Home app, and my Google Home assistant.

This thermostat works with most (but not all) existing systems. This needs a “C” wire for power. Old style mercury two wire thermostats are not compatible. I’d recommend to check your wiring before installing to avoid headaches. Otherwise, installation is simple using the Google Home app (it took about 20 minutes including watching a YouTube video) and looks great. Control the thermostat using the circular dial or remotely through the app.

I purchased my nest the day I closed in my house. Once installed it was easy to use. The main reason, I forget everything. In the day I want my heat down because my house is empty... when I am on my way home it automatically turns my heat. When I forget, I jump on the app and turn it down. So easy and helpful. Love it!

It's an awesome learning thermostat so all you have to do is plug this instead of your existing control unit and you are good to go. The set-up process is easy and you can add family members to control it from their phone apps too. It learns based on your settings and movement that you don't have to program it. Cons: Every once in a while it goes into charging mode when the access through the app goes down but it usually happens overnight so that should be good.

Good product. Premium feel and easy to use. Impressive features using big data to help eek out efficiency. Only complaint is that it lacks some adjustability features that are thermostat specific. Being a smart thermostat I thought it should have included features to make it really adjustable. If you’re the set it and forget it type, this thermostat is for you. If you want to fine tune the systems behavior I recommend the Ecobee.

So far it is easy to use. Like that I can control it from my phone. Especially useful when I am traveling. Also very happy that the numbers and letters are easily viewed on the actual thermostat.

Very pleased with this Nest. Especially since I do not have a "C" wire that's needed for so many other smart thermostats. I spoke to Nest help desk online BEFORE I made the purchase and they verified that it would work on my system. Easy install. Works great, it learns and functions via my Google Home assistants. No complaints at all.
