Beautiful design and great interface. Very happy with my purchase. After following the installation instructions it took 20 minutes to install it. Don't forget to take a photo of your old wires and their configuration--this makes installation so much easier.

I like that I can control my thermostat when away from home, or asking my Google Home to change the temperature. Plus the cool Economy Feature of the thermostat leaning my schedule, and kicking the system back on when I get home.

Yes, there are other smart thermostats out there that have more features and/or are cheaper but none of them look as cool on your wall. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Just judging by our usage history, this will probably pay for itself within 6-8 months.

I bought two Nests, one for each floor of the house. After the installation, my power bill has dropped anywhere from $150 to $300 depending on the month. My house is fairly large, and it was built 30 years ago, heating and cooling the house is just as easy as before and SO much cheaper. In the first four months, the savings paid for the devices. They were basically free. It is also a nice touch to be able to adjust the temperature from your phone if you wake up in the middle of the night from being too hot or too cold. Also, it worked well on maintaining an economic temperature when we were on vacation. It was a comfortable temperature when we arrived home as well. I 10 out of 10 recommend this product to anyone!

I had bought one of these 7-8 years ago. It has never let me down. Always worked and has definitely saved me money. I liked it so much when I moved I had to get the new 3rd generation one. I love how sleek these new ones look.

This is my 2nd Nest thermostat. Had a 1st generation in my previous house. It was great. I love this new Nest thermostat. Installation was a breeze (I am a middle aged, non-technical woman). Easy to program too. Learns you habits.

The thermostat looks great on the wall and is easy to operate. The mobile app seems clunky and surprisingly outdated for a device with Google branding and backing. While it has been working without issue, I'm skeptical that there will be too many REAL tangible advantages.

Really happy with how the nest performs and takes control of your energy usage to regulate your HVAC system. It quickly learns your schedule and adapts to it. We bought two of these and are very happy. You can control your thermostat from anywhere using your smart phone.

I am a techie but have always had a "standard thermostat" I got one of these for Christmas and enjoy having more control and remote control over the HVAC. I cant comment on if it is saving me money yet or not though. The install was really simple. I am in no way an HVAC expert but the Nest App really does make it simple and breaks it down to make the install easy.

The Nest thermostat was so easy to install and use. It is still learning my habits and already paying for itself. I have it synced to my iPhone so I can adjust it remotely. It also syncs with my home alarm and knows when I am away, automatically going into eco mode.

Very trustworthy brand. I have two of these thermostats at my primary home, so I picked up another one for my vacation home. Not only can you remotely control the temperature, but you can save money in a few different ways. Create a schedule and if you don't know how or forget to, this smart thermostat will auto-create one for you; based on your habits or if it detects if you are home or away. Plus, most utility companies run rebate programs (Rush Hour). For example: to conserve energy the thermostat may auto raise or lower your temp by a few degrees once or twice months and in return, you will receive a check in the mail ($50 for each thermostat) I have received over $300 in the past few years!

The Nest was very simple to install. We have been using it for about a month now. It does learn our habits and adjusts for weather conditions. Our place has been more comfortable after installing the thermostat. I recommend it for anyone.

I went from a standard a/c control panel to the nest thermostat and am very surprised how useful and easy to use it is. I love it’s learning algorithms and ability to change anything wherever you are.

I love this device and cant wait to see how much energy I have saved this month. I know from looking at the history (the first day I let it run the same schedule as my old programmable thermostat did on a weekend when I was home). The difference in how much it ran that day compared to since then, when I can turn it up and down, with my Echo, is unbelievable. And it is so convenient in the middle of the night to be able to use my voice to turn the thermostat up or down instead of getting out of bed and going down the stairs to reach the thermostat. I love all smart devices, but this one is hands down the best. And though this is the only brand I have tried, as it is my first smart thermostat, I can't imagine any other could be any better. From the eco settings, to the history and it even tells you the humidity, and of course the ease of use through voice control.

This replaced an 8 year old original version Nest which stopped working when we installed a new furnace (I still suspect the installer fried the original somehow). The new one is improved in many subtle ways (better WiFi, bigger display etc) yet keeps the same simple user interface. Also the new unit supports remote temperature sensors, helpful in rooms which stay colder or hotter than where the main Nest is installed. Works great with Alexa. We don’t use the learning features anymore since we’re home full time and my wife’s hot flashes don’t follow a schedule. There are cheaper WiFi thermostats but our Nest has worked so great we didn’t want to change brands.
