Easy to install and get running. My 16 year old did everything, installation , wiring and configuration on my iPhone. Works like its supposed to. I can already see it reducing our gas bill.

I have a 4-wire connection to my furnace. The 3rd gen of Nest Learning Thermostat will enable 4-wire connection (missing C wire) with no issue at all. You don't need the wire converter to connect to your furnace. Easy to DIY (i spent times watching multiple youtube videos on how to) and it is very easy to install as long as you know how to "switch the circuit off before you do it". Switch off at the circuit breaker panel or the furnace switch on/off.

The Google Nest thermostat was easy to install and used the iPhone app for step by step instructions. The app also allows you to control the thermostat remotely. I haven’t used the learning part of the app because it’s based on your phone(s) location (for instance if I’m not home it would shut off even if there are other people there). It has an interesting rotating dial like a watch and when you want to select on a feature, you push the face in. It has a very modern appearance and clean look. I also like the fact that there’s no batteries to install or replace.

This is the second nest product I had bought. I would say this was easier to install than the nest (hello) doorbell. Works super well with Google home and the nest app it’s very easy to understand. You should definitely buy one of the sensors to goes with us and place it upstair if your thermostat is downstairs. This allows you to set the thermostat to the coldest room in the winter or the hottest room in the summer. Overall, a solid product. You may even get a rebate from your local utility as well to offset the cost.

This thermostat was very easy to install once I confirmed it was compatible with my current wiring. The ease of use, ability to control remotely, and the reporting make this purchase well worth it.

The Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Generation Brass model is beautiful and delightful to use. I reviewed the pro's and con's (not many con’s) thoroughly and when thermostat went on sale and combined with the local utility rebate I purchased it. It has pretty much lived up to all the pro's and more. The thermostat was easy to install and if you do your research - watch a bunch of YouTube video's and follow the directions - it works. Wi-Fi functions perfectly. Never had a problem since I installed it. I also purchased 3 sensors to give me a total view and control of temperature throughout the house. It connects to the Google Assistant where I am able to check and set the temperature of the main thermostat. Awesome! I have been monitoring the history of the heating unit (purchased in colder season so haven't used for cooling yet) which I was unable to do with the traditional programmable thermostat I had previously and it’s great to see and be able to make decisions on heating the house based on this knowledge. I have started to program the heating activity throughout the daily and weekly schedule but haven’t even scratched the service of this powerful tool. All-in-all we are very pleased and would purchase again. It really has revolutionized the way we monitor and control the temperature of the house which in the long run has to save on energy consumption! But in the end it’s all about feeling comfortable in our home and this thermostat has given us greater control over that!

This is our second Nest. We have one upstairs and one on the main level. We love being able to control the temperature in our bedroom by setting it to the perfect temperature a few minutes before we go up so we can go right to bed. We also love how it integrates with Wemo devices and the rules that go along with them. I do wish the App did a better job at detecting home/away. Overall the Thermostat is awesome, very easy to set up with lots of advanced features for professional installation if you have a complex system. Very pleased.

The themostat is very easy to install. Recommend using the thermostat compatibility aid on the nest websit. Can easily control the temp when away. Has worked every time.

Love it. Was easy to install. App for iPhone easy to use. Like that you can limit useage of the backup heat on the heat pump which should save some money. And it looks really good on the wall!

This is one of the best purchases I've made. I love Nest products! This was the second one I installed after the video doorbell. The wiring on this was a bit tricky and although I did most of it, it wouldn't operate. My AC unit happened to break so the repairman was able to rewire some things and make it work. Basically, I needed a C-wire, so we switched the ground wire for the C-wire. It's great if you are on a routine schedule as it learns your behavior. It looks sleek and works great! I purchased this through the ComEd rebate, so it was an awesome deal I couldn't pass up!

This thermostat works great and very easy to use. I was changing a 31 year old thermostat so anything would be better than what I had but this has been a pleasant surprise to see how easy it is.

Wanted a connected thermostat, the Nest seemed to be the best choice after reading several comparison reviews. Installation was VERY easy (10 minutes tops-thank God I had a C-wire!). Set up was just as easy. They included a screwdriver, and not some cheap one either. It will be very difficult to throw it away LOL. So far operation has been great. Controlling remotely is a great feature!

I have been wanting a nest thermostat for awhile but couldn’t justify the price. Found it on sale so made the plunge and got it. Installation is pretty straightforward but if you do run into questions on wiring nest will help you out and have you up and running in no time. Now I don’t know about saving energy but being able to see your usage is a great feature that I use a lot and it will learn your habits. When I’m not home I usually have my system off but when I’m getting ready to head home from work I open app turn on and start cooling. When I get home it’s nice and comfortable. Yes I’m one who isn’t going to cool the house and waste energy when I’m not there. Of course winter months will be a different story. When you leave the house you can set it up to switch to eco mode which is a great feature as well. It’s a great thermostat but it is an investment but I highly recommend it. I also recommend purchasing room sensors as well if your thermostat placement isn’t in the best location.

I think this is great and it does indeed learn your habits and turn up and down the temp. Its very helpful. I think it also looks really great

The Nest Learning Thermostat is now working properly. I had some initial problems with the a/c system after I installed the Nest Learning Thermostat. The problems were due to low refrigerant levels in my a/c unit and not with the Nest Learning Thermostat. Additional refrigerant was added to my a/c system and the Nest Learning Thermostat is working properly. The a/c tech who came out to look at the a/c system said that I had installed the thermostat properly. I had no problem with the installation. I just read the installation instructions that came with the thermostat and I also watched a YouTube video that Nest had which showed how to install the thermostat.

I really like this next thermostat. The display and graphics is great. It is also small and compact, so it looks very good on the wall. The user interface is also great. The installation was relatively simple, especially for someone whos handy. It's smart home capabilities are also impressive, and it's interaction options with other smart devices. It has really good learning features, which is a tremendous help with heating/cooling efficiently. The accompanying phone/computer app is also very handy. Let's you control from anywhere with lots of great customizing features.

I gave this item a 4 because I am not sure yet how this product will affect my electric bill, since I haven’t had it for that long. So far, I love the fact that I could control the temperature of my house while I am away. I also love the fact that it can tell that I’m not home so it adjusts itself to eco mode which is supposedly the energy saving feature of the item. It can also detect when I’m close to home and it then dials the temperature the way I want the house. It also learns my routine and how I want the temperature to be at my house. I haven’t had it for that long and my routine is still off since I have my family vacationing with me for a while. Maybe after everything goes to normal that’s when I could exactly tell the benefits of it on how I could save energy. After all that’s the whole reason why I purchased this product. So far I love that I have the power to control house temperature on my finger tip.

Purchased this to go along with my nest security cameras. Had a few issues figuring out how to properly install but once in seems to be working. Looks good and easy to use once installed. Very cool I can control it from my Google nest app.

This is the best thermostat out there in terms of performance and design. Looks and feels durable and very easy to use with the Nest app.
