This is the second one I have. The earlier one had no issues. Didn't ues the plate that came with it. Bought a separate stainless steel plate cover. Nest app is easy to use. It guides you how to install it.

Definitely the best smart thermostat for anyone that wants one that just works once it’s installed. The contractors that Billy my house didn’t properly hook up the neural wire and that caused issues on initial setup but once that was figured out it’s worked without issue since. Much more reliable than the Honeywell smart thermostat the contractor installed. Could have been partly the wiring, but there smart service seemed to often have issues for the Honeywell that the nest hasn’t had. Smart functions won’t work when the internet goes down, but you can still control at the unit which was not an option with the Honeywell thermostat.

Love having the nest. Wrks so well, easy installation and i love being able to control it from my phone.

Looks pretty, works well. Easy to install and works well through the app. Definitely helps save energy costs.

I looked at a lot of alexa controlled and wi fi based thermostats since I commute 45 minute for work, this nest thermostat learned my work schedule in a week. When I walk through the door my house is warm, and if I leave work early, I just set the temperature with my phone.

This is amazing, I’m able to configure temperature for multiple rooms with connected sensors and it works just fine. One upgrade I will request is fast connection when operating via mobile device.

It works great I really like it but the set up instructions are terrible they don’t tell you that you need to charge it before you mount it on the wall either. And it doesn’t come with the wire you have to have one. A 10 minute set up took 45 minutes over the text with one of their technicians. I would have given it five stars if it wasn’t for the set up instructions.

Set up was very easy and works great with the app or Alexa. We received our first energy bill since we got the thermostat and the savings were evident. I'm looking forward to seeing if the savings continue, especially in the warmer months when the air conditioning starts.

I think that the Nest actually makes my humidifier on furnace work more efficiently. Will have to see how our heating bill is after the first month. Very nice to work remotely. I think most people might need a heating and air company to install. We needed another wire run.

Wanted to upgrade our dates thermostat and this was my pick. No complaints so far. It’s been pretty easy to use.

This thing is great! Had a previous programmable that went crazy on me so i thought i would upgrade. I love it! Havent had more than 2 weeks or so yet but it should save me a ton of money and house is always comfortable when at home.

Super easy to install and get set up. Really like being able to control it through the Nest app with my phone.

This is a great thermostat. You can set it using your phone or set it using a schedule. The best thing is the thermostat begins to learn your pattern and it knows where you leave the house and turns off the heat or air. There are several features on this device you can use. It's a great product.

Easy to install. Looks amazing. The features available are features you never knew you needed. And it’s just so easy to use! I connected two of them with easy and I love how it displays everything that you need to know on the first screen. No clicking around for what you want to see. Like to setting for both thermostats, if it is on Eco mode,etc. also you can set a timer for the fan!!! That is probably the most basic setting that I love because I don’t want the fan on all night.

I wanted a thermostat that would adjust to my life style. The NEST manages this well. I have two in the house and the both have learned our life schedule and have my home at the desired temp when I come home. When I come home early, it senses our presence and adjusts accordingly.

This was my first Nest thermostat and I love it. It learns where we like the temperature and adjusts it for us. Love being able to control it away from home and that it knows when we leave and enter the house. I like being able to see our energy usage. Will buy another in the future.

These units were fairly complicated to install. It took a Tec Guy and a Electrician. They crossed the wires on the heat pump unit so it was in Aux heat mode. They nailed it the second time around. We are very happy with the nest 3rd generation thermostats.

Works well, our previous one was water damaged from a leak and this is a replacement. We have two of them for the zones of our office. I really like the app so I can change settings from my phone.
