I bought this because there was a rebate going on from GA Power. I had already been looking to replace my 15 year old digital thermostats and the rebates pushed me to going ahead and doing it sooner than later. Enough about the process.. I bought two and have to say that these have exceeded my expectation. They look AND work great, I can control them remotely and track how often your heat/cooling runs. While I've only had these for a month, I can't necessarily say they've saved me money, but the temperature in the house stays much more consistent than when my old thermostats were in control. Installation and setup were easy.

This is my first time owning a smart thermostat and have only had it for a few months now, but in that time it has worked great. It works just like it says, it has my habits down. I really like being able to control it with an app as well. It was extremely easy to install. I have never installed a thermostat before or really anything like this and even for me it was simple. I did take photos before I started because the stickers they give do fall off and did fall off for me after about 5 seconds of trying to maneuver them into the nest teeth. Overall, really good product.

I love the Nest thermostat! I've had it for about a month and can already tell I'll be saving money on my energy bills. The Nest was incredibly easy to install and comes with plenty of helpful instructions, tips, videos, etc. to help you through the installation. I love the way the Nest looks on my wall. It's sleek and looks great, especially when it lights up when you walk by it. The Nest app is one of my favorite parts about it. I can control my home while at work, or change the temperature while I'm upstairs away from where the Nest is. So far, I have zero issues with the Nest and highly recommend it.

For the longest time I thought the Nest was ugly. But I finally had enough with our old thermostat and saw this while buying a router so we gave it a shot. Installation was super easy and clean. The nest app is super easy and simple. This thing has a scheduler, home detection with Eco mode, works with Alexa with the Nest skill, controls through your phone, remotely, and can buy remote room sensors for detection using a remote room. Pretty much everything you need for energy efficiency. I would like to add that utilities likely offer rebates for installing. Thanks

We had to replace a broken thermostat and the Nest is great! Nice simple design and blue tooth connectivity for remote monitoring.

Love the features and its sleak design! Works great abd wasnt very difficult to set up

Most people are interested in the Nest Thermostat when you discuss features. Which there are a lot of. But there is a hesitation when they see the price. Understandable. After two months I do have to say it is worth the investment. Living in Oklahoma I set it in Heat/Cool mode and haven't touched it since. I set the upper and lower temps and it handles it. Does a better than fair job keeping my house comfortable without my intervention. It knows when I'm home and when I'm away. And to be honest, I'm really impressed when how well the 'learning' part of this thermostat works. Why only four stars? Let's be honest, price. For most of us $250 is a lot to spend for a thermostat. Even if it does do some very smart things. Would I purchase another one in the future? Probably. Would I replace my current one with the next new version? Probably not. It would have to be pretty compelling new features to do that. For right now it seems to do a good job managing the climate of my home.

Excellent thermostat - easy to install, setup and use for cooling/heating. House temperature clearly displayed and can be adjusted using the app.

Really good thermostat, screen is big, and easy to use. Setup was a breeze and I like how the proximity sensor lights up as you approach it. The wifi capabilities are easy to setup. The app on the phone, is very informative, it learns your habits and adapts to it. I have found myself using the app even at home to change the temperature to the desired level. I love the fact that as I am on my way home, I can adjust the temperature, so my home is nice and warm, or cool as I want. Definitely would buy again

Nest thermostat easy to install and work ,classic look with advanced features . Hands down better then the completion .

I bought this for my house and we love it. Easy to use and we can control it with our phones that's a big plus for us. Also I install it and I was surprised how easy it was.

Talk about convenience, away from home for the day and plans change, connect to the thermostat with my smartphone with either the auto away feature or just tell it to set to Away, coming home sooner than expected, that's covered too with my smartphone. Staying up later than usual and feeling a little chilly, talk to Amazon Echo and say "Alexa, Nest 72" and watch the NEST light up and go to work. Over time I see adding Nest Protect and cameras. I love that I can see my usage on my phone or computer. Installing the NEST was so easy and there are plenty of videos and help available, if needed, on the NEST website.

The prior thermostat did not have power, due to the heater being a furnace only. With an added power supply, the installation was fairly easy and works like a charm. After about one week, the thermostat start responding slowly and sometimes not at all so I reconnected it to a different wireless in my house and it's been fine since. Might have become confused due to adding several Ring alarm devices recently. In summary, it's a nice thermostat that my husband can easily control it with his Google Home/Nest hub.

I have nothing bad to say about this product. I have been eyeing it for a long time I'm researching it against other similar systems before finally settling on it. Installation, set up and use our a breeze. My thermostat is located 2 levels down from my bedroom. It's great to just shout to Alexa to turn down the heat or turn it up in the middle of the night instead of having to trek down stairs. I am very appreciative of the away/home assist feature, as well. It keeps me from wasting money on heating an empty house and it the scheduling/gps location has been such an enormous help. Good product!

We're really happy with our Nest thermostat. It was easy to install and works beautifully either at the unit or from my phone. Easier to set and operate than any other thermostat I've ever had -- and helps us be much more efficient with our energy consumption.

I love that once installed you can remotely set the heating or cooling. We use this for our vacation home to adjust the temperature within the house based on when we plan to visit the house or if the house is empty. The only issue I have with this thermostat is the installation. The instructions and guidance on what wires should be connected based on what system you have is designed for a professional installer and not your average home owner. I have three of these thermostats and each thermostat I installed I had problems with. after many hours the first two I was able to figure out and get working. the third one I needed to hire and HVAC professional to figure out. Great product...not easy to install!

At first I was skeptical because not a lot of people have the nest thermostat. Once it was installed and I got the hang of how it worked, I really started to like it. First, it’s so modern and just prettier than an old thermostat, and second, it’s so efficient for keeping my house at the right temperature while also saving me some money each month. My favorite part though is I can control my house thermostat while I’m on vacation or anywhere because of the app. Overall, I love this device.

It might sound lazy, but I got tired of having to get up every 1.5 hours to adjust the temperature in my home. This is a game changer since I can use Alexa or the app to control my indoor climate perfectly. It was easy to set up. I don’t know anything about HVAC so I called the customer service line and they walked me through the entire installation step by step. Very happy and cozy in my home with this purchase!

Simple installation and very easy operation. Like the way you can program while away from home and turn on while you are away also.

This thermostat is awesome! Very easy to set up and use. Have had zero issues since installed. The app is easy to navigate and easy to change settings.
