I’ve had the 2nd gen for 4 years. I loved all the functions, For a house it works wonder, your electricity bill will drop a lot if you set it up through the app well! Ours dropped over $100/month. So I will always give this a 5 out of 5 review. I upgraded to the 3rd gen since my warranty was over on the last one.

Best smart thermostat! Love the fact that I am able to control the temp from my phone! Also, it has a Eco mode that you can set when you are away so it does not use a ton of energy. I'm sure our energy bill will be a lot less now!!

I was hesitant to purchase at first because I was worried that it would not work with my HVAC system. Well, I was wrong. It was very easy to setup. I bought two devices for the two zones in my house.

Great at knowing our schedule and saving us money when we’re gone. Learned our schedule quickly and it’s easy to make adjustments as needed. Installed in about 30 minutes.

Beautiful modern design. I don't really care about the learning features. I just like the stainless steel tactile turn wheel. The white version with the mirrored screen doesn't feel as tactile. I bought this one solely because it looks cuter, and it doesn't disappoint!

This thermostat is truly amazing . It was recommended to me and I am so happy with it ! I purchased this and the Dot and my Entire house Temperature was completely balanced in 40 minutes and has stayed perfect since ! Even cut my next vectren bill in half ... would definitely and do recommend to everyone !

We bought the nest thermostat to help lower our monthly utility bill and conserve energy and it has definitely done the job! I debated for weeks on whether to make this purchase... SO happy I took the plunge! This Nest thermostat is FAR more accurate than the one I originally had... sure to save on the electric bill as a result! Installing was SIMPLE! I'm not a handy man in the least bit, but was able to install this in 15 minutes. MUST BUY!

This is a great thermostat. It was easy to install and easy to set up. The app is very easy to use and it does learn your patterns. Quick to save energy and set up a schedule to get the best energy efficiency from your AC unit and heating. Shows you your usage and can integrate with other products. Highly recommend!

We love this thing - great when you are away to help control the temp in our house. We can turn it up or down from wherever we are. My one comment is that we bought the black one but the back plate that came with was white, so it looked a little weird (we used the plate because we are planning to re-paint and didn't have any of the old color to touch up where the old rectangular thermostat was). Would have preferred the plate to match the unit we bought but its a short term issue - overall impressed!
