Best at everything

Once we installed nest it was the best thing ever! Had no problems, can control it from my phone when im away from the house. I love the product.

I love the ease of this thermostat and it seems to be helping with how much my heater/ac is running yet still at the temps I like.

Great Smart Thermostat

It learns your heating and cooling preferences and then automatically heats and cools based on how you live. You can also make changes using the app from wherever you are.

I tried a NEST. So glad I did. So simple! I can control it through the NEST APP on my phone, or with Alexa on my bedside clock.GREAT!

I’m a hvac professional and have had to replace the thermostat wiring to accommodate any WiFi thermostat installation for several customers

Ultimate in convenience, can adjust temp from your phone from anywhere. NEST provided a free custom installation guide for the weird wiring in my house. Love their products.

Setup was a breeze with the included instructions and online tutorial. Getting everything programmed and setup with my Echo was also a breeze. Great product to use.

Stylist and smart but ...

It claims to be smart and can adjust the temperature in the room, however, I always feel the temperature to be lower than I wanted, although I adjust manually every day, it still sets the temperature low.

We understand your concern about the lower temperature reading, and the first thing we recommend is to start by checking the location of the thermostat, as it may impact the accurate temperature reading. Here are a couple of troubleshooting steps to help isolate the issue further, as well as identifying that the thermostat is not impacted by external factors:
- Restart the thermostat by pressing the display until it shows a black screen and wait until it's back up and running. A restart should be sufficient to re-calibrate them and show an accurate value.
- Check if the Sunblock feature is on or off. Open Nest App > Select the thermostat > Tap Settings > Look for Nest Sense > Turn off/on Sunblock
- Nest Thermostats in the U.S. and Canada are typically installed on a wall. Check for proximity of the thermostat to: air vents / electrical outlets / appliances / plumbing (hot water pipes) / warm air in the wall behind the thermostat. This may also affect the reading for the temperature.
- Some wireless access points cause the Nest Learning Thermostat’s wifi chip to overheat, which affects the thermostat’s detected ambient temperature. We suggest disconnecting the network for 24 hours, and monitoring the temperature.
Different brands of thermostats and thermometers have different ways of measuring and reading the ambient temperature. Normally, a temperature difference of 1-2°F can be negligible, but if it is greater than that, and should the steps we highlighted not identify the issue, then we may need to have a look at what may be causing it and work on improving your experience.
