The Nest has been great, we are able to control the temperature from our phone. Even if your not home you can see what the temp is and adjust as needed. highly recommended product.

I had a nest in my last home. Well it stayed when I sold the house. Started renting a townhome a few months ago and missed my nest. Bought another one and love it.

Easy to set up and the app is easy to use and control my heat/ac from anywhere. Love that I can change my settings to help control my energy bill!

Easiest smart thermostat on the market. From install to operation. My Elderly parents have trouble with the ecobee but they can figure out the dual on the Nest!!

Love it!!!! This is a great product & very easy to use. I am a fan of its “intuitive nature .” The Nest would be my choice every time! I am looking into more products by this company.

Tried this, wanted to love it, but it just didn't work for us. Could not get it to work with my home. AC would work but heat would not. Spent nearly 2 hours on the phone with Google support troubleshooting with no success. Install was simple, and it looked great on the wall. Ability to adjust it remotely via phone was nice too, but without it being able to do its core function it was of no use. Reverted back to the old school thermostat and was back to working order.

We purchased this when it was on super sale through the holidays last year(2017) which was almost, if not half, the retail price. Google/Nest does a great job with this kind of price reduction on all their products. The bonus was we received a credit from our energy company for the thermostat as well, making it almost free. The previous bills without this thermostat were 25-50$ a month higher the previous years during winter and summer peak energy usage. Which in total was about 4-6 months of the year. Even if we had paid full price for this unit it would have paid for itself within the first two years. The learning it does during the different times of day makes it a breeze to almost never have to touch the thermostat. The home/away sensing is awesome too. The only issue we have had isn't really the thermostats fault. It's location is in a hallway which is in the middle of the house. Our 60's Ranch house is very compartmentalized which means if you have all hallway doors closed it can throw off the temps in the other rooms(colder/hotter dependant on time of year exterior temps) as the hallway is generally the longest regulated temp in the house as it doesn't have a HVAC register. This is leading us to believing we may need to purchase the Nest Temp Sensor(s) to rectify this issue. Not everyone will have this problem it really depends on house layout and insulation properties of your exterior walls and ceiling/roof. Which is why I don't knock the thermostat down a star. Ultimately it does everything it's built for while saving you money.

Bought this so I could change thermostat even when not home. The “learning” thermostat is wonderful. Didn’t have to adjust after a couple of days. Highly recommend. Would buy again!

Easy to use thermostat. Nice clean look on the wall

Our biggest issue with this product is when it is in econo mode and you can't exit the mode from the app. It also doesn't respond when we walk up to it and even push it to try to turn it up. It stays in sleep mode. Otherwise it had been energy efficient and looks nice.

Stylish, easy to use, works with even older homes with only heating and no cooling. Check for utility rebates!

Easy to install and configure. Once you go nest there is no looking behind.

Like the features and the functionality of the product. Controlling from the phone is very convenient features that outsmart the conventional thermostat and it is very energy efficient

Its a little pricey for a thermostat and theres a lot more on the market offering the same (and even more) features. The best feature is the “learning”. It will get used to your schedule and it will know when there’s no one home and saves electricity with this. I’ll been using it since the begining of the month so I’ll update when i get my bill. It has a graphic of how many hours the AC has been working per day/week/month.

I love this thermostat. Very well integrated into the rest of my google smart home. can set schedules and change temp from anywhere. Love it.

Easy install, looks stylish...not sure if I will save the money that Nest promises but my energy company was offering rebate so I thought why not...will update review incase I see energy costs go down.

Nice design and east to install and program. Being able to control and monitor it remotely with a smartphone is great!

Love this thermostat! Now that I know how to set it I can forget about it. My Temps change automatically based on how I have programmed it. Plus I can change settings with my phone and Amazons Echo.
