I love how within a week it had mastered everyone's schedule. Having the ability to monitor and adjust remotely is also a plus. I have only had it for a few weeks but i love how it works. Setting it up was a breeze too.

Easy to install, easy to use and live the modern look.

So glad I decided to go with nest. It learned my desired temperature and adjust automatically! Control from my phone so that I could turn air down or heat up when I'm leaving work and it's nice and cozy when I walk in. My dog is home all day, so I did set my eco settings to the best suited for her. I love the control I have. The auto heat or cool is also a great setting. I live in east Tennessee and for a week or two it was freezing at night and miserably hot during the day! It was also so easy to install! Pay attention though if you have a heat pump. You'll need to use the heat pump wire set up.

Genius product! Nice look with several selections of trim. Easy to set up once installed. Convenient when you are wanting to remotely turn on air or heat when away and returning home.

did not use best buy one in the end due to nest sending a replacement for our bad one. nest support was responsive online and required pictures. they do not send new nest products to replace only refurbished ones and then tequire the faulty nest to be sent to them. our original nest lasted about a year before it malfunctioned and the refurbished one sent by nest company worked for a couple months before some setting seemed to disappear such as fan modes disappearing. also it auto set the heat to not turn on somehow even when it went below the user set lowest temp threshold when we thought we had turned the learning off. luckily the pipes did not freeze. overall, this device is nice when it works but does not seem to be reliable in the long run. we have no other smart thermostat to compare it to. our old no smart thermostat was much more reliable. if you would like the other smart functions to control the thermostat remotely, then this may be for you.

I have owned two second generation Nests. Moved into a new house and bought two third generation Nests. The display screen is noticeably larger. Set up is just as easy. Love this thermostat. And it will save you money. The monthly emails show you have much energy you saved, used, and in time will show you how much you save year over year. You do have to put in about a week's worth of work setting the Nest to learn when you are home and away and if you like temperature differences at night. Once you get past the first week, Nest learns your norms and you pretty much never have to touch it again. You just let it save you money. I would recommend to anyone.

Great product and easy to install and use. User friendly

I read the reviews and decided to try it out. Never happier. The set up was easy, linked up to my wifi right away. No problems. Easy for my wife and I to read. I can change the temp. from my cell phone or just turn the dial.

It works as expected. I love the feature where AC turns on when needed and uses the fan to move the air around. It keeps my house temperature in between the two temperatures in between heat and cool. I love the way it looks and the smart app.

Great thermostat and extremely easy step by step install and set up. Looks really nice on the wall and the ability to control it remotely while laying in bed is great!

Works great with the app on my phone. I travel for extended periods of time, and I feel better having this in my house so I am able to see what temps and climate is, inside and outside my home. This is a truly fantastic product. I had no issue installing (replaced an old 1990s digital thermostat) and it has a sleek design. Even my HVAC repairman was impressed when he saw it on my wall. My only complaint, is that the "Smart" feature is not extremely smart. It would randomly turn up the heat when I didn't want it to, or turn itself down when I didnt want it to. This feature is easily disabled.

The thermostat was easy to install. All you have to do is look at the present wiring and follow the online instructions to see if it will work with your wiring. Then, there are step-by-step instructions for installation. My system was over 30 years old, but it installed without difficulty. All the parts necessary are there with the thermostat. I know there are other thermostats out there, but the Nest Learning gets great reviews. Also, reviews stated that some of the other ones had hangups on installation with older systems. The thermostat and APP are very intuitive. I have had no problems controlling my system from afar If necessary. I am looking forward to a much lower heating and air-conditioning bills.

I absolutely love having this Google Nest! I think the thing I love most is the ability to adjust the thermostat remotely. Whether from another room or away from home, this provides such a convenience. If I leave home and forgot to adjust, I can just pull up the app and change the set point. I can also adjust the temperature before coming home so it’s a comfortable temperature upon arrival. I can set the more predictable schedule but have the option to adjust from anywhere for the less predictable. The only issue is occasionally it will disconnect from the WIFI, in which case it cannot be controlled by the app, but it’ll often reset or will do so once I mature contact with the thermostat.

So far, so good! We replaced our HVAC system and added the Nest Learning Thermostat. It's so easy to use and looks great, too. Check your local gas & electric company for potential rebates.

I love the learning that the nest is known for. Installation was so easy. It even came with a screwdriver! Set-up was a breeze. The detailed instructions on how to connect the wires was seamless. I couldn't be more thrilled! And did I mention I can now turn down the AC when I land at the airport so that my house is cool when I walk in the door? BONUS! The only con is the price. These aren't cheap. However, check with your local electrical provider that might have rebates associated with this. Mine gave a $75 rebate for connecting it to my utility account. And supposedly they will give an annual $25 credit for as long as it is connected - essentially paying for itself even if you don't account for electrical savings that this will supposedly provide "learning" our habits.

I replaced two old thermostats in my home with Nest thermostats and I am very happy with them. Being able to adjust the temperature from your phone is amazing. I found the schedule programming is a bit time-consuming at first, but once the schedule is in, tweaking time and temperature is easy. I had an electrician install the first unit, but once I saw how easy it was, I did the second one myself. Make sure you have compatible wiring before moving forward. If you have an old/cheap thermostat you may require some wiring changes (electrician). If you already have the right wires, installation is easy if you're remotely handy.
