We had this device in our old home and this was the first product we installed in our new house. It's a must. So easy to use, sleek and helps regulate throughout the entire house.

This is an absolute must have product to control your heating/cooling system. HOWEVER, there are a few important things to know, which I've learned after owing my first version of this thermostat for almost 5 years and recently purchasing a new one. First, it is very important to remember that 4 wire systems can work with a 3rd gen Nest, but with a big caveat. You will either get enough trickle charge for the thermostat to last your ownership of it, or you will have to buy a 24 Volt Transformer C Wire Power Adapter for Nest (recommend googling it) to offer supplemental power. I know this now because I had a 4 wire system that failed to power the device after nearly 5 years of my ownership. Secondly, find out if your heating/cooling system has a C-wire on board, even if you currently have a 4 wire system. Mine did have this so I was able to pay a qualified technician to run a new 5 wire system to my new thermostat. But as I stated in the previous point, if a 4 wire is your only option, then refer to the adapter reference in my previous point. A final recommendation I have is to keep a manual style heating/cooling thermostat on hand to back this one up should an extended power outage or software/device malfunction occur. As nice as it is to be on your home's WIFI network and be able to program, use the smart functionality of the thermostat and be able to access remotely, it is smart to have a back up thermostat.....which I also learned the hard way. Best of luck on this purchase. If expectations are properly set, you're going to love this device.

This thermostat is awesome.. easy install easy setup and ultra easy to use ... turn on Learning mode and it will help lower your heating bills ... it did mine.... I can’t wait until summer to see how it can lower my cooling bills too

It looks great and I love being able to control my thermostat remotely. I had a problem with Com ed initially telling me that it did not qualify for the $100 rebate. I had to call and ultimately received the rebate.

Easy install instructions, and comes with some tools! Works as described and is super easy to use. I love the schedule option! Totally worth the money. And you can control it with the app! It has helped me save money on my utility bill.

The Nest is very easy to install on your wall and looks sharp. It makes it very easy to control your thermostat regardless of where you are.

Installed this on my AC/Heating unit...was very easy to follow the instructions. I had no problems making it work.

The nest thermostat is great. Too hot when in bed, just use your phone to lower the temp. It also learns when we have been adjusting it at bedtime, when we're not home, etc. Waited too long to purchase this.

Looks great and is easy to use. Set it up in the matter of minutes. One of the easiest smart home adds.

By far the best thermostat I’ve ever owned. This is the second one I’ve purchased. After falling in love with my first one I bought this one for my other house. I’m replacing a 1 year old smart Honeywell thermostat with this nest one because it’s much easier to use the nest and I don’t have to give instructions to people that stay over. The nest is something anyone can figure out and adjust when they need to, no instructions required. Although my first thermostat replacement saved me lots of money on energy bills I don’t think switching smart for smart will save much but I can’t stand that Honeywell anymore.

Awesome thermostat. Easy to setup and use. Super responsive when in use. The learning mode is spot on. The color is clean and nice. With every penny.

We got this nest as an upgrade to the newer model. Im very happy with this model. Very sleek and controls the temp in my home even better.

The NEST does a great job at learning the temperature settings that keep you comfortable. I also like the fact you can control the thermostat remotely through your phone to make sure your home is at your ideal temperature when you arrive home.

The nest thermostat is amazing...really easy to use and setup! The best thing is that when I wake up in the middle of the night because I'm too hot or too cold I don't have to get out of bed. I just grab my phone and adjust the temp in the house!

So easy to install. The associated YouTube videos are very helpful too. They have thought about everything that can make your experience a memorable one, right form the time you open the box (... that small blue arrow where to peel the plastic off)

This is seriously the greatest thermostat ever, extremely easy to install (2 mins) nice face plate to cover larger thermostat holes in your walls, and soo easy to use, esp from your phone. You can control it from anywhere.

Love being able to control the thermostat from my phone and google assistant. Saves you from getting out of bed on nights when you want to change temp. Very easy to install and comes with tools needed.

This is the fourth 3rd generation Nest that we have purchased (2 for our home and two as housewarming presents). Being able use our phone app to check our house temperature when we are away on vacation (we have pets), turn on/off the air conditioner/heater when we are too lazy to get up from bed, turning off/on the unit when we left the house for the day to save on electricity costs, hooking it up to our Google Home so we can just tell the system to turn on or adjust the temperture while cooking or watching a movie.... the NEST has been a great purchase that is well worth the cost. The units are usually $249 but we paid $199 during the Black Friday sale. On top of that, we qualified for a $50 rebate through our electricity company. My husband installed the units and said that it was super easy.
