Purchased the NEST learning thermostat on a whim to avoid having to (re) program my old thermostat all the time. Installation was a breeze. Everything required was in the box (but the screwdriver included is a joke!) and setup was so intuitive. I was up and running in 15mins flat! If only all the products were so easy to setup! Farsight feature is fantastic and I was able to easily explain the 2 numbers (target temp & current temp) to my 9 yr old easily. Time will tell how much money this thing will save me in energy bills!

I've been meaning to get a smart thermostat for years and finally did it. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. This was on sale and came with a free google home. I use both all of the time now. The Nest has already paid for itself. I saw a significant reduction in my monthly electrical bill this summer. Also, my utility provider gives a discount when using a smart thermostat so I received additional savings. Am thinking about purchasing a second Nest for my upstairs unit! FYI this is super easy to install.

Kind of a pricey little thing, but looks pretty cool and I wanted for a sale. Certainly a nice visual upgrade from the old thermostat. Features of the app are very nice, it's wonderful to be able to adjust the temperature in the house without having to go up to the thermostat. You can set a schedule like your old thermostat and get some nice new features like -- lock the temp & heating/cooling history.

Liked the look better than the Ecobee I used to own and don’t miss any of the Ecobee’s features. Easy to set up!

We have a modest vacation home in the north Georgia mountains. While I do not want the pipes to freeze, I also do not want to pay for heating the place when we are not there. I could leave the thermostat on 50 degrees, which is what I did before I got the Nest thermostat. Now, I can monitor the weather and turn on the heat when the temps drop. When we are there, the Nest works with my Google home device, and even shows the weather forecast. When we are away, I can monitor the inside temperature, the humidity and set it where it needs to be.

Love this product. From installation to set up to use, it was all very easy. It learned my preferences within 2 days. It looks nice on the wall also.

Great item. It has so many options, features, and works great with smartphones. The only reason I took a star off is because unfortunately it did not work with my system, even though all the wiring was compatible. I had to unfortunately return it.
