I love my nest! Great for controlling temps when I’m gone or away. Can setup eco schedules and easy to install and use! Happy purchase

No one admits to touching the thermostats in the house but someone always does. Keeps the thermostat wars and your electric bill (for the times they put one unit on heat and one unit on cool, or AC down to 60) in check. Was the best option for our situation (wiring with no separate power line). I have mixed with the other nest model and works great. Too many features I probably won't use, but unfortunately the convenience of smart thermostat was worth the cost if not to prevent tampering.

Install went smoothly. Took more time to patch holes in the wall from the previous 2 or 3 thermostats than do the actual install. Probably took 15 minutes. Only had one R so hooked it up to Rh, not Rc. Heat works, too cold to test the AC. Love being able to adjust via the APP or my Echo. Not sure how the learning function will go as with 4 people and adjusting schedules, unsure how it will adapt. Will review again in a few months.

Bought this to replace an old mercury thermostat on an AC/heat pump unit for a small section of our house that includes a sunroom and storage room. They are not well insulated and the unit was running virtually non-stop to keep up. I was hoping that this would help with efficiency, or at least enable us to view statistics to adjust settings to keep the room a more consistent temperature. While it hasn't been in place long enough to know for certain, it does appear that the unit is running less and the temperature is definitely more stable. It took me a while to figure out the wiring from our old thermostat, which is my only knock on it. Once I was able to determine that, installation was easy.

Easy to install and setup and it looks good. For the price I think it's the best choice

I just moved into a new home and I hated the thermostat is came with. My furnace would never shut off and it was beyond frustrating. I came across this Nest and I am so glad I did! I was able to take a quick quiz on the Nest website to see if it would work in my home. The nest was compatible with the set up in my home and I quickly bought it. Installing it was easy and it works very efficient. My monthly bills went down and im happy overall.

I bought this while it was in promotion. Great price! It took me 20 mins to install and 5 mins to learn how to use it. Absolutely convenient! I love tech!

This is a great upgrade to my home air/heating system thermostat. Easy to install and can be operated from my cell phone.

It's very handy. Thec1st time I handled 1 was when a friend's grandparents ask me for assistance when their system wasn't coming on. Be sure not to program it for multiple times to come on and off in the day.

Excellent product but pro cess for installation was not good. I was replacing an existing Nest thermostat that was no longer working. When's doing the installation this was not an option that was presented during the Nest app installation. Everyday worked out how to do it by removing the old thermostat from my account and then telling the app the thermostat was already installed, very non-intuitive. This needs to be addressed in the documentation. That being said the thermostat once installed is doing it's thing.

We've been using our Nest for almost two months now and it is one of the best choices we've made to save money and be more energy efficient. The install took us MAYBE 15 minutes from opening the box to getting registered on the site to submitting for our rebate through our local power company. The reports you get from Nest are great to really keep tabs on your usage, the iPhone app is clean and easy to use, and the intuitiveness of the whole system is spot on. We've kept our temperature settings within the "efficient" range and have had no complaints or discomfort in acclimating to the changes.

This is not your Father's Thermostat. It is well thought out and put together. Learning as it goes it will make your life easier. Turning on the display when you approach it another nice touch.

Love my Nest. Not only is it great looking but has saved me $$. It's intuitive and connected to my wifi. I can cool down the house before I get there.
