The upgraded 3rd Generation thermostat Is amazing. It learns so much and is super smart. It will alert you if the house is too hot or cold to make sure nothing is wrong. It will alert you if it notices a problem with the HVAC. It has Google Assistant and Alexa yo allow you to control the temperature with your voice. The sensors now performing better and noticed and adjusts when the sun is directly on it. Definitely recommend the 3rd Generation.

The nest is very easy to install and use. It has definitely made a difference in my heating/cooling bill!

One of the easiest DIY installs out there. Label your wires with the provided stickers using your old thermostat as a guide before removing them. If the thermostat you are replacing uses batteries there might be a couple extra steps if there isn't a power wire.

Bought this with no background knowledge other than I got a $75 rebate from my power company. install was simple, straight forward and easy. hard part was turning off breakers! Setup was quick and streamlined. Establishing an account and linking it to the thermostat was a little confusing but it got figured out. you have to have the thermostat give you a code to link it with. So far, after a week this little guy is pretty awesome. it's bright, clear and really classy. All the settings are easy to navigate. I highly recommend it!

The NEST thermostat was easy to install. Took about 30 minutes to install two units. Great looking thermosat. Can’t wait to start saving $$.

Purchased this thermostat after much research. Being that my heating system is a little older I was skeptical that this would work. To my surprise I checked the Nest website for compatibility and it said it would work. I decided to purchase the white trim version as it matched my decor the best. Installation from start to finish was under 15 minutes and my novice electrical experience. After watching the install video on YouTube and reading the directions it was a snap.
