Great for our house and summer house, (we have 2). We set the heating or cooling when on our way down the shore and when we get there the house is perfect! Saves you money!

On the other hand, the Nest thermostat is always the best on the market, especially when there are special offers. Its list price is way overpriced for value for money

So far, they love the nest! They commented that on the way home from an extended vacation this summer, they were able to turn on the air conditioning via the app a couple hours before they arrived. It was one of the hotter summer days in MN and they really appreciated that the AC was working before they arrived.

Lucky I have a friend who is an electrician! Love the internet connectivity and OPPD has a program that links to Nest. They gave me $100 up front and $20 a mo th to agree to Let them regulate thermostat during peak hours. It basically paid for itself!

The unit itself is very nice and very easy to install. The wires from the old thermostat connect appropriately and only several screws are needed. The app is also very handy, very easy to use and has the exact same icons/details as if you were actually looking at the thermostat

I love that it knows when I am away and to change the temp as to not waste energy. And for the super lazy times when I just don't feel like going downstairs to turn it off or adjust the temp, I can now control it from wherever I am from my phone. Nice upgrade from the standard thermostat I previously had.

After getting the new one it only took me 20-30 minutes to get it running. Really simple to install even for someone not to handy. So far we love everything about it and we can see how it’s already saving on our electric bill by setting it on Eco mode. It will pay for itself in no time. Must have def. recommend
