Works great. Easy to install. Good deal and easy to use.

This would normally be a 5 star review. However the situation being that it was. 2 years and 2 days after my purchase(considering its a 2 year warranty) the wifi module went out on my previous Nest Thermostat. After contacting support at Google Nest which they do through Twitter, now X, they "regret" to inform me of this well known situation and that the only solution is to go and purchase a new one. So thats what this purchase is. A replacement unit for something that should have been warrantied by almost any other company. Seriously contemplated going a different thermostat route, but because of the unique nature of our heating and cooling on this home and the wiring all done, all I have to do is pull off the old one and plug the new one in and connect to my wifi and go. I decided for ease of use I would do that.

Very simple to install and works great! I love that I can connect it to my phone and Alexa devices to easily control the temp.

Our old house was so cold and the old thermostat would rock back and forth on and off. The new thermostat makes it nice and toasty then shuts off for a long time. It looks at the outdoor temperature to make sure it keeps the heat up on cold days. It's a very good thing to have if you are sick of the furnace turning on and off all the time and never getting it really warm.

I really like the Nest thermostat. It has a great app and it looks cool.

you MUST carefully read and follow the directions VERY carefully to install this properly. You also need to know what kind of HVAC system you have and make sure you verify before purchase that your HVAC unit can have a remote controlled thermostat option installed on it and that it uses 24V AC Power! 95% of units these days do but never assume when dealing with your HVAC system as you can easily short out the controller board on your unit. Once you have done all the homework you should have no problems installing it per the directions and it works Very well on Google Home!

Thermostat follows schedules and adapts to habits quickly. The downside for the thermostat was the compatibility with my HVAC unit. It claimed to be compatible and install seemed easy, but a few weeks later the battery on the thermostat dies because it was not receiving power from the hot wire as it should from most units. The problem was not difficult to fix but was inconvenient as it could be recognized on the front end by thermostat as the other steps within the install process.

I love to be able to control the temperature from my phone. Looks so nice!

We frequently travel and the ability to control from our phones is a big plus. We will always return to a cool or warm house while saving money in heating and cooling costs while we are gone.

Easy to set up and even easier to operate. Needs some getting used to temp settings to achieve accuracy, but it is offset by the convenience.

The Nest Thermostat is amazing. I love having the ability to control my house's environment from anywhere. It makes being lazy so much easier. I had this professionally installed and it they had to do some stuff to make it work properly with my furnace and AC. I'm glad I had it professionally installed.

I love the Nest Thermostat and the Nest products. I have had the Nest Thermostat in previous homes and it is one of the first things I added in a newly purchased house. The Nest app is intuitive and easy to use. The installation of the Nest took me less than a half an hour from removing the previous thermostat to installing and controlling the newly installed Nest.

After initial set up because of an exsisting issue with my system it performed as advertised. Online control and Goggle home integration is very nice.

I thought it was going to be somewhat difficult to install the thermostat but it was very easy to do. The only concern was the wires from the old thermostat not knowing 100% were they will be connected. However, you can call the representative and send them a picture of your current setting (before removing the wires from the old one) and the person at the other end will tell you exactly where they go. The only reason I give it 4 stars is due to the "Away mode", 2 out of 10 times works and I think it is a very important feature if you want to save on electric bills.

Installation was very easy. No need to ever worry about adjusting the temp again.

I remodeled my home and was happy to get Nest its easy to use and learns what temp you use from night and day and will do it automatically. I like it a lot and would recommend it
